Good morning crew, how are you today?

I'm just chugging along here, trying my best to not over do it. Not my style, but I have to!
Got on the scale today knowing full well that I'm only 7 days post op and still full of fluids. Four pounds higher than the day of surgery doesn't make me happy, but at least I know where it's coming from. Still, our heads aren't screwed on straight to begin with, so any gain freaks me out, even if it's for a fleeting moment.

Here's yesterday:

Mini whole wheat bagel w/ LF cream cheese and 2 slices thin bacon
Lean cuisine sweet and sour chicken
Cottage cheese w/applesauce
Meat loaf, 1/2 baked potato, beets

So? Tell us how you're doing
Applesauce w/ LF granola

Good morning Susan....so nice to see you here this morning.

My eating isn't good....too much grazing.....too much stress!!

I got rid of a bunch of bad food yesterday...sent a lot home with the kids but there were still somethings around.

B- Boost High Protein Drink
S- turkey bites (like beef sticks)
L- Hamburger pattie and green beans
S-Hershey Kisses....gone now!!
D-roast beef and baby carrots w/onion
S-crackers and cream cheese...ugh

Yeah, my best line of attack is to just not buy the stuff in the first place. And as far as when our kids are here? They're vegan, so there's no chance of overeating greens!!! Lol

B - breakfast tacos -low carb corn tortilla and LF ground beef
L - Grilled Chicken, green beans and sweet potato
D - Grilled chicken, veg. mix - squash, zuchinni, red bell pepper, carrot
S - Blueberry patty

Total calories       1,060
Fat                                20 gr     18%
Carb                           118 gr     46%
Protein                          96 gr     37%

Morning Captain Sunshine, Sure hope you are feeling better .

Yesterday:

B-L, That seems to be the time food goes down the best, can't eat to early.

Fresh Tomato Salsa, yum.

Fresh thinly sliced carrots.

Fresh Cauliflower. 

Thinly sliced grilled steak.

Dinner, the honey man took us out to dinner.

Can you quess, yep, Mexican

I had two Fish Tocos, the Tortilla stays on the plate , I eat the lettuce, tomato's & fish fillet .

1 Bud Light, poured over ice in a glass, strange I know, but that the way I like it. 

Didn't get in enough water yesterday, I spent about 3 1/2 hours getting my hair color weaved in, can I say the grey disappeared , yeah. The grey on my head isn't Jan's beautiful grey.

Better late than never. I overslept this morning and have played catch up all day.

B - cottage cheese, Kashi, berries
L - deli ham, lettuce, broccoli
S - apple & pb
D - pork & cooked carrots

Susan - you ought to stay away from the scale until some of the swelling goes down. No sense in driving yourself nutz.

I resisted the urge to jump on it the day after surgery......lol knew better than that. Besides, as woozy as I was I would have fallen off the damn thing.
