I would think, but can you imagine how many Marines will be there?  That scenery might be worth the price of the ticket by itself...lol

Especially if the "scenery" are running in the race.  All those little shorts and tight buns....

Sigh.....

AND those Marines at the end of a marathon probably wouldn't smell any better than Candy's stockyards cowboy!!

Well, at least the Marine Marathon won't take more than a few hours. It WOULD be hard to watch anything else. I can just imagine the marathon course through our nation's capitol!

We are back and truly pooped Grandparents are we. I am sore in places I forgot I had. The traveling bra is happy. My heart and soul are feeling fine...daughter and Gkids look and are soooo wonderful. Sara is truly in love again and it shows all over her. This man is really a wonderous surprise for us and his love for our daughter and her children are so evident. We were walking to the Magic Kingdom and Emma, age 10, ran up to Sara and Paul and she just naturally took his hand. He showers attention, love, hugs, fun, encouragment on them all. His 8 yr old daughter is delightful and blends in with them all as they with her. We the parents are very happy for them all. This is Paul and his daughters first visit to Disney and it is joyous to see their delight.
We had fun. We stayed at Shades of Green, the Army military hotel right by the Magic Kingdom. They gave us adjoining rooms. Nice to see so many Gparents with their kids and Gkids. Also wonderful to be surrounded by those who serve now, like Paul, and those who have served our great country.
Today we will keep a low profile, remember our fun, and hope the weather warms up for our northeast family as they continue their fun at DW. I feel so lucky to have gone to be with them. Alex, Emma, and Natalie all grew so these past 3 months, amazing.
Prayers and hugs to all, Monica

Monica...sounds like a wonderful trip...and what a fabulous way for the blended family to begin creating memories...as well as yourself!  Sometimes we all forget to take the time to just have fun and enjoy our loved ones.  So happy you had the opportunity!
