Saturday Morning! What's new?
Here in Quebec the sun has been shinning all day. Temp. not bad 22 F. I have had a flu like cold all week. Had to get antibiotic. I went to the health food store today and got an immune booster. I cannot be sick I will have my surgery Feb.28th. Good day other wise and I am on the mend. What are the rest of you up to. Doris QC.
I'm going to try and do a lot today. The steroids they give me with chemo give me lots of energy on the next day. I had to use a lot of make-up to cover that the steroid make my face red and pimply looking.
My sister and her husband are going to remodel our bathroom for us, but we have to go pick out and order all the stuff for it. We are taking measurements and then visiting several stores to see what styles we like and what will work for us. Then we will be able to order the stuff we agree on.
Have a great day.

Good morning Debbie and all,
Today, DH and I are taking our Granddaughter to the mall to get her ears pierced. She wants butterfly earrings. I told her we would either get her the butterflies or something similar. She is only three and doesn't understand that the piercing is actually pushing through the ear. I dread her shock, but I know that she will love the earrings. She is a girly girl and puts jewelry on every single day as well as her little lip product and lotions. Then, we are heading to the shoe store to buy both her and her brother a new pair of shoes. If they are good, then they will get a toy. I am grading papers tonight and tomorrow and hopefully will be able to get a little sewing in when the kids go to bed tonight.
Like Susan said, we are having beautiful weather and I forsee a visit to the park. So, busy, busy weekend.

I was a slug yesterday. Did absolutely nothing after my chiro appointment other than pick up prescriptions (took an half hour), then to Office Depot to fax some papers to the short sale negotiator for the upmteenth time, then picked up lunch and came home. Watched two movies in the evening, had to turn on the air at night, I was sweating (it's 73 today ... I'm not complaining ... I would open the windows, but the stench from the paper mill is horrible).
Yes, all you snow-bound northerners, 73 degrees, sunshine, some wispy clouds, gorgeous, gorgeous weather .. in January! I could get used to this!
Well, I have to work today. No energy, woke up with a migraine (it's gone, but the meds sap my energy) ... talked with my brother this morning on Skype. Making plans for an April vacation ... nothing much, maybe a trip to Dallas for a few days to see my new grandnephew and his parents (nephew Chris and his wife Jill) and other Dallas friends.
Well, that's all from me. Have a good day.
I spent the morning cleaning the house, doing laundry and packing for our trip to sunny Arizona tomorrow. We will have 2 1/2 weeks of fun in the sun!! We are flying out of Bismarck which is about a 2 1/2 hr. drive from our home so we are leaving home early as we won't know what athe roads are going to be like on the drive there. Our DS, DIL and G daughter are taking us down so we won't have to worry about leaving our car in the airport parking area for such a long time. We have never been to AZ and have many family and friends there so we will be busy.
Hugs to all and hope everyone is doing well.....
Will try to check in here and on Facebook if I have a chance.

I am home from Denver and out of the hospital. I only had to stay in the er/obs unit for 15 hours and the cost was for me a shocking 400.00. Thanks HCA!!!!!! I am so glad I have that american express credit card!!!!!!! My labs are back to some kind of normalcy and I wasnt put back in the hospital yesterday. I am resting to some degree this weekend and will return back to work on tuesday.
We saw the Kings Speech today and it was very good. We dont go to to may exspensive movies but I wanted to go and see that one.
