Sunday- What's New?
Just back from Mass and again it is such a wonderful church and community here. Love the little ones who come on down to altar for a special blessing, they just beam. Priest gives gets messages to the parish and I really love it.
Missing my family alot past few days. They are all in the northeast and are getting so much snow. Wishing I could give my son, Angus, a hug.
We have been to the local SPCA 2 times now, looking for a mature mutt for rescue, him/her and US. Wish us Help in finding that special dog, hubby really needs this. Saw a beautiful German Shepard, age 6 and 90 lbs. Too big but hubby can't stop thinking of him.
Prays, hugs, and good thoughts to all. Glad Miss Carla is better and home.

Hi Juia and my OFF family:
It's pouring rain today. Not surprising ... my body has been hurting for the past couple of days, so I've been expecting it. Poor Juliette ... she's so afraid of storms. She was sleeping under the bed this morning. She came up and sat on my lap for a bit while I was reading the paper and made biscuits (kneaded my lap ... tough with her claws). And purrred ... so loudly. I guess she felt safe, even with the storms.
Not much happening today. I have to work tonight, so I need to get in the shower, have lunch and think about work yet. The weather is not conducive for that ... I didn't even want to get out of bed this morning (I had problems sleeping last night).
Well, not much else ... glad you found a new furbaby. Our pets are so great for us. I know Juliette has changed my life since I got her. She still isn't as snuggly as Scooter but she makes me laugh when she plays and she's always there waiting at the door when I come home, never judges me. She is my reason to get up in the morning and come home at night.
Have a good day.
Today has been a lazy day. I played 2 rounds of bowling on our WII and danced around at every strike, etc., so I'll probably won't be albe to walk tomorrow...LOL. It's fun though to act like a kid again. I thank the Lord for my surgery and weight loss so that I can participate in these games, etc.
Well, it's getting close to dinner time so I better say "so long" for now. I hope everyone's Sunday has been a nice & relaxing one.
