What's new Sunday, February 20th
Hi Pat,
This is my first post on What's New? I am not sure what my weather here is supposed to be, but when I walked my dog, it was cold and windy. I was up most of the night, because I had an accident in bed, and had to wash my flannel sheets, and did not want to put my regular sheets on the bed, so I stayed up to wait for them.
I hope to have the energy to get to church, as I was not there last week. I also have to try to get an online course finished. I am having trouble logging into the account now, and may have to wait till tomorrow to call Customer Service for it.
Later, I will get to an AA meeting, as I am in recovery, and am on a roll making a meeting a day for the last week.
Where are you in Michigan, in relation to Lansing? My daughter lives in Perry, about 30 minutes east of there. I want to move there, but she is not keen on me being out there, as I only know her and her in-laws. I want to be her full time babysitter.

I'm as far south in Michigan as you can go before crossing into Indiana -- Lansing is probably 65-70 miles from here almost due North. Sturgis is called "the gateway to Michigan".
Nice to meet you and you are most welcome on this forum.
I am struggling with an almost 30 lb. regain and also have big issues with sugary stuff. Just can't seem to get my head on straight. Right now I am overwhelmed with health issues too and that doesn't help.

Sunny day here today, however, yesterday was really awful with winds that were so high and tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, why are the nice weather days all when we are at work? I certainly would have enjoyed Friday's weather today or tomorrow when I am off.
Tony and I are going to the Reading Terminal Market today will be doing a lot of walking. Not quite sure what else we will be doing today and tomorrow, but whatever we do, it's sure to be fun because whenever we get together it is that way. . .
Well that's my day and I am wishing all of you the best possible day and the peace and strength to get through the challenges life deals you.

For me it's church this morning and then home to clean my filthy disgusting house....since I began working full time 50 - 60 hours a week in September I have no time to clean!!! And I have overnight guests coming Monday night that I haven't seen in probably 10 years....ugh! Everything is coated with dust and every surface has clutter on it. I'm cracking the whip on my husband and kids, lol - nothin' like a woman with a whip in her hand and a dirty house!

Lazy day sort of yesterday, and MAY do a bit more today. we'll see! this week will be a busy one at work with the Pharmacy installer there and building most of our needed dictionaries needed.
My shoulder is still bothering me. I fell the first, only and last time I tried rollerblading when at my lowest weight about 3 years ago and the shoulder pushed with great force into my neck. Last year it started bothering me again, had PT before moving and since I moved went to a former Physical Therapist who does myofascial release, it helped but was $85 per treatment. told my new doc about it and he ordered more PT. Beween that bothering me, knees and ankles, back etc I've been taking more tylenol which throws my INR out of whack with the coumadin dosing. BLAHHHHH! whine whine whine.
Took the dogs for a quick walk yesterday, the wind had been blowing a lot here too, and it's back to being cold and snowed most of the day yesterday. Then went to TSC for dog and cat food, and stopped at the local market for me food. That was my exciting day!
Today won't be much different. I keep looking at the homes for sale, but know I cannot buy anything at all right now. I still have the house back in Ohio and the financial issue on my record doesn't allow for any house here yet. I'll be going back to Ohio in a few weeks to finish up cleaning out the house then hope to get it rented out. My car will be payed off sometime this year and that will be great too. I was thinking about trying to get a different one this comming fall, but think I will opt for snow tires for next winter and keep this one for a while yet. It will be nice to not have car payments for a while!

Sober 109 days and so proud of me.
Hubby had very long hard day at VA on Friday. His anger is still potent, but I saw him really trying to be better yesterday. Got a small script of medication. We will see what happens.
Yoda continues to be a wonderful joy. He has such a great personality. He loves the dog park and plays well with others. He must think he is this huge dog, cause he loves the big ones so.
Missing my kids and gkids. But I like it here and enjoy the temps and sun.
