day number 10 Gastric Plication

Hi Doris,
I saw you post earlier and did not have time to reply.  Did you have plication alone?  My surgeon is in clinical trials for using lap band with plication. They have been using this combo in Iran for 5+ years with great success. I opted for the gastric bypass procedure and will have surgery in about a month, but I think my husband might have the lap band + plication at some point.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the forum. I am thrilled for you that you are doing so well! Based on your reports, it is easy to understand why my surgeon was so excited about this procedure.

I just had the Gastric Plication.  I am the first one in the Province of Quebec. I am feeling wonderful was out shopping all day today with my son. We had lunch out and I had potato leek soup and a glass of water. more than enough.  None of my family except for Hubby know about my surgery.  I wanted it that way.  My family is too big and I need to deal with this on my own. My incisions have all healed on the outside still quite a bit of bruising but slowly going. ask anything you like.  Doris Qc.
