Morning Eileen, Friends!

Quick drive by to say hi. . .  busy here in my office, will be for a while. . . so I'll stop in as time permits, probably more to see what's up then anything, otherwise, I'll be thinking bout you all and wishing good things for each of you!

Gotta get back to work. . .

By for now. . .

Good Morning Eileen,
I just got in from the gym...had an early appointment with my podiatrist to sign paperwork for my surgery, and took my dog to camp because we are getting torrential rain all day, and walking him is not fun in cold rain.  At the gym, I managed 20 minutes of steady laps, which is progress considering I had not been regularly swimming lately.

The rest of today has me cleaning my bedroom and doing some Bible study.  Depending on the weather, I may venture to the Ladies Bible Study tonight.  I don't drive well at night in the rain anymore.

Hope everyone is moving.

Trish

I just finished the first coat of polyurethane on the French doors.  It took me less than an hour to do it, after several weeks (make that months....years....of finding excuse after excuse to put it off.  I finally ran out of other things to do and had to break down and get it done.

A light sanding tonight, another coat tomorrow, and I can take the plastic film off the windows.

Then I get to scrape and scrub 30 panes of glass, over and over till they're clean.  That's why I've been putting it off.  Don't mind the painting, just hate the cleanup.

Everyone have a good day.

Hi Eileen and all my OFF friends,
Eileen, sorry work has not turned out to be a friendly atmosphere.  It makes it so hard.
I had chemo today.  I'm going out with my Mom and two sisters to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner.  This was a spur of the moment decision.  I will try a new nausea medicine if that hits again on Saturday.  The general "feeling like crap" the doc says is probably a cumulative effect from the chemo and not a steroid withdrawal.
My favorite niece who is my God daughter as well, is having a baby in November.  This will be my second great niece or nephew to be born.
I will also become a Grandma again at the end of September.  Such blessings.
I am liking being on short term disability.  It gives me the time to do what I want to do.
Thoughts go out to all of you facing challenges.
Hugs,
Bev
