TGIF y'all ... and actually my last day, too.

I am up, barely, and ready to go back to bed. I did not sleep well last night.
I need to get my clothes finished...I am in the middle of organizing my wardrobe. taking the clothes I don't need to a charity...a halfway house for women.
I should get to the gym for a swim, but just don't feel up to it.

Eileen...sure hope your headache goes away soon...they sure can ruin a day.
Started my day by taking the car into be smoged...as far as I'm concerned it is nothing more than the state of California keeping mechanics in jobs....a 5 year old car, that is well maintained, does not need a smog check every other year! But it is required in order to renew my license tags...but it ain't cheap!
I'm at work, such as there is. Soooo unusal to be this slow...but I'll savor it as in another month I'll be inundated with paperwork, both for our annual convention and my annual dues membership billing. This year we're holding the convention at the Disneyland Hotel....and before you think that is 'cool'....I work every day we're there and have company related to-dos to go to every night. I'll be lucky if I get a few hours to myself on Friday nite and Saturday day :-( Hoping DH will ride the train down Friday and we can go to Knott's Berry Farm...Disneyland isn't his style LOL
Nothing planned for the weekend...suppose to rain all the way til Monday, early Tuesday. Tonight I'll go to my line-dancing exercise class...so glad a fellow support group member told me about it..last week was so much fun! Of course, I was dead tired after an hour of cha-cha-ing and 2-stepping LOL

Good afternoon Eileen and everyone....
I don't know where the day has gone....been sooooo busy .
Jamie got a new JOB....fulltime....she will be working for Lutheran Social Services in Ames. She has great pay and benefits too. I am more then a little proud of her. Thank you God!!
Grace and I are always doing something!! She is a busy little girl. Grace is so good and listens to me very well. We haven't had any problems yet. Nic.... I don't see as often because of school, his job and friends. He is doing great...graduating soon!!!
I am settling in more everyday. Really feels like home now.
I will be in MN next week to finish up everything there. Nic will be at Children's Hospital on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi There,
I am playing Auntie cousin Mama to a 1 ,3 and 4 yr old today. I think it was sort of funny that a 3 yr old had to show me how to change a diaper!!!!!. Man I am I not behind the 8 ball being a mama!!!!!!!
My cousin is doing a festival showing her wares in aluminum schulpures today so I am holding down the for****ching the kids. Some of the pictures ore on Facebook under Carla Slavin-Klein.
I got my I phone today.
The learning curve is going to be a tough one!!!!!
