I am sorry your old computer got hit with a virus.  That sucks.

I have been in Grandma Heaven all week with my Munchkins in town.  We went shopping at the Disney store yesterday, and of course, I got them each a little stuffed critter of their choosing.

Today it is a trip to the Salvation Army with my Mom and the Munchkins.  Then, probably lunch.  Afterward, probably lunch.  Then, I* have to get an X-ray.

I had a nice day yesterday ... went to see "Source Code" then went out for an early dinner at Chilis. The only bad problem was trying to get my handicapped sticker ... I have to get an actual examination this time (last time, all I had to do was get a doctor's statement ... this time, I have to get a dr.'s exam). Oh well..

As to virus protection for your computer, Judy, go find a program called AVG ... it's freeware and works wonderfully. Also, you can get something call malwarebytes, works great to get rid of malware; the computer guy who put it on my old computer said it's like taking a gun to a knife fight.

Well, I have an appointment this morning at the pain clinic to get my refill for my vicodin, so I have to go get dressed. Yeah, they've got a racket going for this ... they sock you for a copay just to get a refill.

Hey Eileen...why not try the pain clinic to get you our script for the handicap sticker?? That is who gave me mine!! Worth a try!!!

I have NORTON for my virus protection now and I was told that malware thing was a rip off and be careful getting that one...so not sure about what you were told...just saying.

The guys who worked on my computer about six months ago, loaded that Malware program for free on mine -- I like it and it seems to do great.

Things are done differently in La.  ... they have to do an exam before you get a handicapped tag. Then it costs $3 to get the tag.
The malware thing isn't a ripoff, it works very well. Norton is good, too ... I have it now, it came with my computer. Malwarebytes is free anyway, as is AVG.

Well I am back posting the rest of what I wanted to tell you all...lol

First of all I am new great aunt!!! Hunter Anthony was born April 2nd at 12:15 pm 5lbs 7oz 17.5" long and yes he was full term. My neice had some problems through her pregnancy and alot of bed rest to save this little guy and thank GOD he is a healthy little beautiful boy!!! I did get to see him on facebook a few minutes before my computer crashed!! He is sooo cute!!! And tiny!!! Mom and baby doing very well!!! :-) Can't wait to see him when I go back home for my mom's birthday in June.

My new computer is a HP desk top Windows 7 it came with a 18.5" HD LCD flat screen which I have to get used to being so huge lol! 2.8 GH processor,3GB, 500 GB Hard drive, and optical drive DVD+RW Super MultiDrive. Got a really good deal on it at Walmart last night for $448.00!! I also have NORTON for my protection now instead of Road Runner that did NOTHING to help me save my computer from being attacked monday!!! GRRR It is toast!!!!!! So now I have alot of learning to do with this new computer...LOL Wish me luck!!! ;-)

Got my facet blocks done yesterday morning in my back. Dr kept telling me to breathe...I was holding my breath while he was doing them...told me I had to breathe lol I told him it didn't hurt as bad when I held my breath. He said I still had to breathe!! LOL OK I said...LOL Had some pressure discomfort all day in lower back and today I feel pretty good so far. I go back to work tomorrow morning for 41/2 hours. See how I feel then. I go back to foot dr tomorrow afternoon for check up on my foot. Only hurts when I bend it when I walk. If I don't bend the left foot while walking it doesn't hurt at all. Go figure. And then next tuesday morning I go back for the sciatic nerve shot in left leg area. So hopefully then I will be good as new again!!! I hope!!!

Last week at work we had an opening day party for the Cleveland Indians. Got to wear our Tshirts and hats if we wanted to. Ofcourse I wore mine...lol anyhow they had hot dogs and salads and chips and pop and water and cookies. Also had a couple nice gift packages for a drawing later in the day after the party ended at 4pm. I won the biggest gift package!!! It contained an Indians Jersey, blanket, 11  gallon insulated tote, peanuts, cracker jacks and sunflower seeds and a couple insulated water bottles and an Indians balloon!!!!!!! My guess this gift package was close to being around $75-$100 area!!! OMG and I won!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited that I won!!! LOL

We have new people living above us now and so far they are not the brightest people at all!!! They were cleaning and when they were through with the cleaning water they threw it out over the balcony!!!!! Rick about went through the ceiling in rage over that and I was right there with him!!! Don't they know we have Bandit down here that goes outside??????? YES they do know that!!!! AND it is in the lease that you do NOT throw anything over the balcony at all!!!!!!!! So Rick called and reported them!!! We do not want Bandit getting into something that will make him sick!!! Especially after he just got over being sick!!! These people have no consideration for others at all either...they were pounding nails in the wall at 1 am!!!!!!! OMG!!!! How rude of them!!! Rick wanted to pound some nails last night at 230 am just to **** them off but I wouldn't let him!!! LOL Told him we were going to bed...so that was that.

Talked to management about that parking again here. I got home friday night again and no parking for me by our building! Seems J building had friends over again and they all parked over here instead of infron of J building where they belonged! So I asked about getting a handicap sign for me with my apartment number on it. It is on order!!! I told her that when I got home and another vehicle was parked in my spot and no handicap tag I was calling cops to report it!!! She said go for it!!!!!She is also sick of these people taking up her spot where she parks at her building also and she is getting a sign ordered for her!!! Guess it needs to be done so people will park where they should!! I suggested that signs be put up parking for building E only etc and see how that goes...she said she would ask the bigger management and see what they think. Now that there are more people in here and more cars alot of spaces being used. alot of brain dead people for sure!!! Amazing to say the least.

Judy, I second what Eileen just said.  Get the AVG program.  You can google AVG and get to their site.  I've been using this program on all our computers for the past 2-3 years with no problems.  Also use MalwareBytes.  Both work great!

So, I don't know if it was the 2 mile walk on the treadmill yesterday morning, or the new protein drink I tried yesterday afternoon (Pro Jo), but I had so much ENERGY yesterday!  I felt terrific.  Ever since surgery I have gone down for a nap every afternoon around 4 p.m.  I felt really good all day yesterday.  And I wasn't as hungry either.  Looking for a repeat performance today!

Got a surprise phone call from hubby yesterday.  He couldn't get the email to work (he's on an oil rig in Saudi), so he just called me instead.  We usually only get one phone call a week, so it was a lovely surprise.  He's feeling a bit down and anxious about all the medical procedures to come when he's home this next time.  We have to go spend a week with the doctors at MD Anderson in Houston.  Hopefully they will be able to give us some treatment options for his prostate cancer which has reared it's ugly head again.  He's already had surgery (2 years ago) and radiation (last year).  We don't know WHY it keeps coming back!

Then my poor darling has to have his remaining teeth pulled and new dentures.  Doesn't that sound like fun?  NOT.  I sincerely hope that will be the end of it, and we can spend the rest of his time off at the lake--fishing, boating and relaxing. 

Better look lively around here!  Still working my way down that long, long to-do list.

i'm home today-woke up with a nasty headache and backache-napped after some meds-decided it's sinus/allergy stuff.
last nite's class was interesting-should have tested out however decided that too late.... i am learning..and have a 5 pge paper due about computers-have no clue what my topic should be-have to submit idea so no duplicates in class...ideas?? the class is intro to windows...anyhow- i was done at 8 pm and allowed to leave so i did!
tonite's class is online so i will do from home then next week it's 'onground' tomorrow nite is onground also... i am loving school!!!!

my boss' father passed yesterday-it was a blessing tho we all know it doesnt make it any easier to take. her family remains in my prayers.
she is a very special person to me and it hurts to see her hurt.

well- off to the grocery-the vet for roxie's dog tag and then to pay the electric bill-
nothing else new- o h-i use AVG have for years
