What's Happening on Thursday?
Greetings OFF Family,
Thursday has me getting my stitches out of my toes. The pain has been unacceptable, even with meds.
Then, in the afternoon, I have to visit my Munchkins, and say Good bye to them, as they are leaving on Friday.

morning Trish or good night which ever it should be a two in the morning...lol....i have been trying to decide what to sell and what to try and take with us to Ecuador isnt easy. I know i can rebuy when i get there but some of my trinkets , all my rooster collection , consist of even rugs and lace curtains and water kettles and planters and dishes are things i really would like to keep but know that i cant keep it all.
all my pictures of family i am trying to scan and put on my computer and then will take them and put on disc. so much easier to move that way.
Just heard today of a an easier and cheaper way to get some things there. will see if it works out.
Going to get our house on the market this next week....hopefully will list it for only one month and if it doesnt sell in that ti\ne will try to auction it off. if that doesnt work will try to find a rental company that will take care of getting it rented and taking care of the collection of money ...isnt going to be easy to do because will probably after paying the agent for taking care of renting it will just clear enough to make the house payment and maybe the insurance. good grief but with the bigger things we have to sell will still be ok ....have lots and lots of lawn equiptment and lawn and garden stuff. and lot of tools. and large house hold items...
well enough of that i guess im rambling have been working all day we just got back home yesterday after being gone since Feb the 4th that was two months. found all of our water pipes under the house busted....we drained them before we left and they were insulated too. but that is what happens when you leave everything off and unattended....so it was a day today of getting the supplies and getting all the old broken pipes cut and taken out from under the house. Joe finally got the bathroon sink and the tolet fixed so they could be used ....hopefully tomorrow he will get the rest of it all fixed up ...
guess i will close and hope everyone has a great day today....

Today and tomorrow are the last days of school before our Spring Break. So far we haven't seen any SPRING!!!! and today they are calling for snow showers. YUCK
Trish you asked before and I never got back to you....my grand son is being delivered tomorrow around noon. He is not my first grand child , I have a grand daughter by my first daughter, but Liam will be my second daughters baby and my FIRST grand son. I"m getting more excited as the day approaches..I just try not to let on.
Well I need to get myself off to the shower...its 5:31 here and I have to be in school by 7:30..so

but, my toes are fine...my belly thats another story. It was Trish's toes that are hurting so much even with pain meds.
But I THANK YOU for the hugs...I needed them today. Its been rough in school with talks of lay offs and with the country blaming the economy on the unions and teachers. We are treading lightly...and feeling very vulnerable.

Hi Marcy,
I do sleep, after I watch my late night shows. I also nap during the day. Retirement is nice.
My two grandchildren are a girl and boy, both by my daughter.
The doc took my stitches out and the pain is much better, since I don't have that tugging sensation, in addition to everything.
Congrats on your two grands... I pray everything goes well tomorrow.

I was still working when we began downsizing for our new life. Hubby couldn't understand why our Realtor daughter kept insisting we take down and pack away so much of our stuff before we showed the house. She kept insisting that we had to let the house be seen so buyers could see themselves in the house. It was hard for him to listen to his daughter on this. Going to open houses in our area did make him understand. Watching shows on HGTV like sell this house really brings that message home. Having a specialist come in an off insights and tips is a great first step in the process. Are you working with a Realtor? Deciding on what would fit in the RV and what we really HAD to have with us was hard but essential. Your moving that far away is kinda like us moving into an RV. What did we really want/need to keep and what else could go. We had a very successful inside advertized in local newspaper tag sale. We had many friends come in to help watch the people coming in. Didn't price tag stuff, negotiated $$ face to face. Sold some of our bigger pieces with additional newspaper ad. Then when we were down to the wire, we were lucky to find a young women who had nothing, was pregnant, and alone. I find such joy that she took many of our things, especially my china, silver, etc. We couldn't understand why our own kids didn't want alot of our stuff, but let that go.

Morning all. Sober 155 days and so proud of me.
Cool night and great sleeping. It will be heating up with a preview taste of summer in Sarasota next few days. Really want to go to beach, we will see. Excited that I want to venture out instead of staying in. OCDing getting better and feels good, kinda like stripping but without the pole.
Yoda got groomed yesterday. We had him close shaved and asked about his hairy paws so she gave him a "poodle" foot do. He looks like a mini lab with floppy ears. Finally can see his toenails, I will not paint them red, but I want too. Hubby went to pick him up, the groomers come to RV place once a week, while I was napping. Yoda bounded into the RV all perky and joyful, he likes the way feels and looks.
Washed throw rugs at one of the laundry rooms here. They are too big for my RV machine. The rugs look great, like these new front loading machines. You really have to cut down on soap usage like the instructions say.
Borrowed 6 books at the laundry share/swap and found a box of coupons so I can home with more than I went with.
How upsetting that the toe still is painful. Can't believe the doctor doesn't do more. Thanks for the FB invite. I am Monica Calluzzo Bond. I will friend you this morning.
