What's Happening on Thursday?
Good morning everyone. It is still morning. I seem not to be able to get on the computer very early in the morning. I am in Rayne, Louisiana this week checking on and visiting my mother. I took her out of the nursing home yesterday and drove around a little while. This afternoon I have and appointment and then will go back to the nursing home. My appointment as guresome as it sounds it with the cemetary plot guy. I am getting to that age where I think I should start preparing just in case.
Tomorrow I will bring my mother to my little apt and let her go througn the boxes she has here. She has been here almost a year and a half and has not been able to go through all her stuff. Either the weather is too bad for her to get out in or it just rained and I can't push her wheelchair through the yard without it getting mired down in mud. This time it is warm and sunny and I got a potty chair to place over my toilet so she can get up and down.
Saturday I will try to take her to Alexandria to see my aunt and visit the cemetary where her brothers and parents are. I think the only thing to prevent it would be her medication schedule. If I can leave early enough and get back in time for her evening meds there won't be any problem. She is doing well right now and I don't know how long that will last so I want to go while I have the opportunity. She is 89 and in better spirits than I have seen her in in awhile. We shall see.
Thats about all I am up to.
I do have one request. I am having problems with my eyesight lately. I have a hard time reading the posts in small print. It would be real nice if everyone would use the medium font. I don't want to skip any post but some are just a blur to me. I don't want to miss anything!
Prayers and good thoughts for all

I'm taking it slow this morning. Survived the dentist appointment. Boy, I lead a boring life. Can't think of a thing to say today. When I drive I get dizzy and nauseated, so I'm not going many places by myself. Thank God for my sister and friends. Had a test done by my ENT called a spin test. (ENG). It showed I have a left inner ear problem and my brain and inner ear are not communicating. Going to start balance training. Have no clue what that entails. Should be interesting. Take care. Mag

I am getting on here really late today. I had a doctor's appointment this morning, and set my alarm for 8:30 ... well, it went off but I was lazy, turned it off for just a few more minutes ...next thing I knew, I heard my watch chiming (I haven't been able to get it to stop since I changed time) and it was 10 a.m. and I had to hustle. My appointment was to get my exam for my handicapped tag. No problem, just that it cost me a $25 copay ... what a ripoff. I know I haven't been going there long, but I think she could figure out that I have two bad knees and a bad back just by talking to me since October.
Not much else going on ... back to work tonight. I'm sleepy and could use a nap. The White Sox are playing now and have a 3-0 lead but just blew a big chance to score. It's opening day in Chicago and right now all is right in the world.
Jan, I love hearing about your new adventure. Monica, the tales of Yoda are so fun ... My little Juliette just came up by my computer, but if I put it down, she still doesn't sit on my lap for long. She's sitting on the recliner next to me, though ... pets are wonderful.
Well, have a good day. It looks and feels like rain here.
