It's Thursday- I am officially in hell!

Monica, I am in north Naples, so just maybe 90 minutes from Sarasota. We could meet halfway for a lunch or early dinner - whatever! Best days for me are any day next week, or May 5 or 6. I go home to PA on the 7th for a while (but will be back during the summer). Hubby is coming on the days in between so I don't want to tie up those days. He takes VERY little time off so those are his/our "veg" days. It would be so fun to meet you!

Do you know anyplace halfway - ish? Fort Myers area? I am close to 75 and can GPS my way anywhere!

Did the fill Doc. tell you how many cc's he put in?????  Since you haven't had a fill in a long while, he must have tightened it too much. 

Hope you get hydrated soon, not a good thing.  I know you don't want to, but you may have to drive those 3 hrs back and get some taken out.

Well, Pat, I think you are right. I had 1.3 cc and I left there with 2.8 cc. Too much, too fast. BUT, I was able to get down the water he gave me. The problem didn't start till the middle of the night Tuesday (Wed. AM).

I have to go through Fill Centers USA for a slight unfill. Though I did call the SC doc office. They are trying to get ahold of the fill doc. When they do and find out when he wants me in, they have to contact FCUSA and THEY have to call me! Yep, I know I'll have to drive the 3 hours back down there, and I'm pretty sure it will be this afternoon.

I could go to my DH's doc but his staff is very rough, took 12 very painful trys to fill me last time I went there! And I would have to pay him, I already paid the SC doc!
my DH's doccan't see me till late this afternoon anyway, so I may as well wait for the SC doc!
I am waiting patiently! Or trying to.

I feel your pain.  My Doc never gives me more than a half cc at a time. Usually the fill is around .3cc.  So I'm shocked that this fill doc more than doubled what you have.  My doc also makes me chug-a-lug an 8 oz. glass of water to make sure I can get it down after the fill.
I hope you get it reduced this afternoon.

Bev, I know what you mean. My fill doc in NC would not have given me so much. I did drink a glass of water before I left and even had some tea for dinner. But for some reason I tightened up solid in the middle of the night.
At $165 a fill, I want to get my money's worth, the unfill will be free. But I don't want to be so uncomfortable!
I had never been to this guy, but I really liked him. Not his fault I guess, I drank his water and said I was fine. He said if I had problems within an hour to call him. I didn't have problems, so I didn't call. He is only 3 hours from home, my NC doc is 6 hours away!
I am getting a little anxious though!

This morning I have a furniture delivery coming at 9:30 a.m.  I let my oldest daughter take her king sized bed with her when she moved to Waco last year.  Ever since then, she's been sleeping on an inflatable bed whenever she has come home for a visit.  So, as a surprise, I bought a new queen sized bed for that bedroom and it should be delivered this morning.  I've got all new linens and 2 new lamps for that room, too.  It's all pulling together nicely.

Still working on the cleaning up phase, but I should be done before my youngest daughter and grandson arrive this afternoon.  It's been a long, long time since I have had to baby proof a house!!!  But now that Benny is crawling, I'll know he'll get into everything that's not put up.

Tonight I'm going to make my Savory Southern Pot Pie for dinner, the one I submitted to the Bake Off.  It will be the first time my family has tried it.  I'm interested to see their reaction.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend.  Most will be off tomorrow.  We'll be at a crawfish boil at the lake with DH's family.  Prayers for Judy's mom and her upcoming surgery.

I have a luncheon today and then will head out to Louisiana.  Will see friends on Saturday and take my mother to church on Sunday.  don't know what we will do Friday.  Hope everyone has a good Easter weekend.  Watch out for the Easter bunny and his chocolate.  Yikes !!!  I am so glad that I don't have much interest in chocolate.  Never did.  Now if I felt that way about all candies and deserts I would be so ahead of the game.

Good Morning Grammylew and OFF Family,
I am late posting because I had Internet issues earlier.  I just got home from two cortisone shots, one epidurally and one in my hip....OWWWW!  This afternoon, I am heading to the dentist, because a crown fell out and it had the post and screws still in it.  I have to get them all done today, because I have to have bridge therapy being on Coumadin.  It is a hassle now, but better safe than sorry.  Otherwise, I have to wait a few weeks, and get the bridge therapy all over again. 

In between, I will rest or walk Utley.  Tonight, I will scoot to an AA meeting and then watch the Phillies later tonight, as they are in San Diego.

Grammylew and Monica, I hope you are both feeling well soon.  It is no fun being laid up.  Also, I am sorry you are having joint and teeth issues, Patricia.  A friend had a cortisone shot into a knee this week and she said it HURT. 

I had to let my employee go yesterday.  As a person, I feel terrible, but as a director, I know I did the right thing.  Sometimes it sucks to be in charge.  Today is another day. Tomorrow is my last Options class and then I will be hoping to get a referral to a surgeon.  I am getting nervous and excited at the same time.
