Hey Pat, sounds like you are doing TOO much. Remember your insides have to heal. Please be good to you.

Not doing too much Monica -- they told me to work up to 30 min. a day walking and it's just a short driveway to my mail box....most of the time I am sitting on my butt!!    Have to get the body moving to get my strength back - I am very careful not to overdo.    I opted for the electric cart at Wal mart and was glad I did.

Thanks for your concern, tho.

Pat
Be good to yourself; your body has taken so much in the last few months it's a wonder that it hasn't just given in and gone on strike!  You are a real trouper.

Thanks Margaret -- I  sure hope I never have any more general anesthesia.....afraid the next time I might not wake up at all.   Takes a toll on this 72 yr. old body, for sure.

Good Morning OFF Family, and Nancy,
I made it to Michigan, via Pittsburgh, yesterday.  Monday was spent in Monroeville, visiting my Baby Boy, age 28, but he'll always be my baby.  Drove through lousy rain in Ohio.  Yuck.

Today, I am babysitting my grandchildren, and both have some intestinal bug.  Granddaughter had one end going, and is just getting off the BRAT diet, and Grandson threw up during the night.  So, he is on mild foods.

Hopefully, the weather will warm up, so we can take a walk and get some fresh air today.  I also have Playdoh and coloring projects to do later.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Trish

I always try and keep colored pasta in the RV for necklace, indian jewelry, picture making. My Gkids will eat this pasta too, as long a no red sauce is added. Strange Italian kids, only like Kraft Mac & Cheese, no meatballs or red sauce, and God forbid...my homemade mac & cheese or Gfathers homemade sauce.
Enjoy, how old the Gkids? Can you play poker with them? M&M make great poker chips and they are both math inclined from our poker playing, they still have trouble with cribbage but making progress.

Morning Nancy and OFF family!!

Well its raining here again...sighs. Had to take Bandit potty before he went to the groomer this morning and I guess she didn't like it that he was wet. Well what was I supposed to do? Let him suffer with a full bladder and colon while he was being groomed?? Gezzz

Got home from work last night and had company here. Rick's mom, grandson Anthony and my avon lady. Diane had to get her avon so our apartment was the meeting place I guess. Joy. Oh well I got to see Anthony. He sure is getting big!! He turned 3 last week and is still wearing diapers!!! Now that makes me mad!! Yes he is still pooping his pants and he is a smart kid and can tell you if he has to go potty but he will not do it. Makes me upset that his mother just doesn't stay home long enough to get him trained right!!! She would rather run around I guess. She must love cleaning poopy pants!!! EWWWWW Any how, Rick's brother is now engaged to his Angel. They will be going to Michigan to get married where its legal for gays to be married. The reception will be here in Ohio sometime in June. Rick's daughter will be the flower girl and Anthony will be the ring bearer. No we will not be going to either of the festivities. Seeing his brother's posts on FB is enough for Rick. I would like to go but its not in the budget. Short notice and funds...makes it a no can do right now. I wish them well.

Need to call the foot dr and let them know I got my check I sent to them back in the mail from another business that must have gotten it by mistake and mailed it back to me. Sighs....atleast they didn't ca****!!! Also need to call about a free haircut that I have a coupon for. Actually I have 2 coupons so Rick can also get his cut today also. :-) Finally found a photo of a cut I want of my hair so I will be taking that with me and hope they will cut it like I want!

Laundry room is being used AGAIN...grrrrrrrrr looks like I will have to listen close for when its done so I can grab it quick...the guy upstairs is back from out of the country so he is the one doing his laundry now...sighs. I have today and tomorrow to get our clothes done. Hopefully.....

Well that is it for me today...prayers and thoughts for those that need them!!

HUGS

Good morning, OFF!  Packing up to go home today.  It's a 6 hour drive and I'm dreading it.  But we have to go home sometime, right?  And I have lots of "chores" awaiting me there--pay bills, prepare for Board meeting, etc.  Might as well get it over with.

Monica, I'm sorry for your rough day.  All husbands, even the best ones, can be real a$$es sometimes.  When I confront my DH about his behavior from time to time, he always gets defensive at first, but then later he'll come back and apologize.  They just don't think about feelings the same way we do.  I'm sure your DH never dreamed he was hurting your feelings.  My husband once told me, "I can be good or I can be a mean son-of-a-biatch; it's up to you to keep me in line."  OKAY then!  I can do that.

(BTW, mostly he's sweet and a real teddy bear.  But I have no problem letting him know on those rare occasions when he's being an SOB!)

Well, I've got a ton of stuff to do before we can leave here.  I'd better get to it!  Love you all!

Yeah I sound brave on here with you all, but I quiver inside of ever having "the converstion" with him. I have such a wonderful speech composed inside my mind, but can not conceive of it leaving my lips. I wound up in the hospital in Texas, running away from him for 4 days. Told the staff not to release my name (this was after I had consumed almost a liter of Jack Daniels after he "talked" to me one). I also could not lift my right foot off the ground since I had damaged the nerves from crossing my now slender legs...beware crossing your legs people. I still have severe residual damage and neuropathy. Doctors figured out a mini nutrional stroke, thought I was schzoid, demented, drunken women. When I didn't return to the RV that afternoon for 3 hrs, he decided to look for me. He filed a missing person report and the Texas sherriff found me and brought John and himself to the hospital. I refused to see him, letting the Texas sherriff know I felt abused. He told unless it was physical abuse he couldn't anything. As he left me in the ER, he shook his head and said to me...you drank that much liquor, how could you do that TO HIM.
