It's Sunny Saturday here in the Northeast - What's Up?
Glad the sunshine finally found you Laureen.
Congratulation, Monica, on your 200 days. You are awesome.
Nothing much going on at my house today except laundry. May go to the pool if the strong winds calm down a bit. Need the exercise and sunshine for vitamin D.
Take care, Mag
I am still having computer woes. Today I have managed to get my internet connection working on the laptop, but it's still not working on the big computer. Beats the heck out of me! I need my oldest daughter to come home and fix this for me. She understands how all of this stuff works! I don't!
Yesterday I wanted to download a new book onto my Nook, but I couldn't do it because my network wasn't working. So I went to town and drove around trying a bunch of different free WiFi hotspots until I finally found one that worked for me at IHOP! I downloaded 3 books at once, so I won't run out and have to go back to town again before I get this problem fixed!
The scale moved down half a pound today, so I guess my little stall is broken. I won't do that to myself again--I hope!
We had a really nice rain here last night. But my little puppies are scared of the thunder and lightening. Lulu finally wound up on the pillow on top of my head! She kept nervously licking my face! I didn't get much sleep until the storm was over.
Anyway, it's too wet to pick the garden this morning, so I get a little break from that.
Think I'll fix a bite of breakfast and then go for a soak in the hot tub this morning. Happy Saturday to all!
Still fighting these allergies /cold. The sun is shining brightly so I plan on getting out and getting some good rays today!
Laureen...every time you mention Tony I get a lump in my throat. I had to leave my Tony behind in MN. It was very hard. We will always be the best of friends even though we can't be together. His family and daughter are in MN so he will be staying there. I completely understand but I sure do miss him everyday!! We still talk on the phone and miss our times together but it just isn't the same. Glad you have your Tony!!
Really plan on resting up today. I let my daughter sleep in until 10....now the rest of the day is mine!!
Have a beautiful day everyone. I can't thank you enough for always being here for me. You are all just wonderful!!
Prayers to many in need.
Love and hugs to all....connie d
I am sorry you had to leave someone special behind and I understand your feelings, it is why I still live here, as my original reason for moving here, my son and his family, are not something that brings me the joy your family does, I cannot leave behind someone who has brought so much happiness into my life, a good deal of our relationship is via the telephone, because he lives over 60 miles away and works and has family up where he lives, so in all likelihood, for the near future our relationship will remain the same, but I do get to see him most every weekend and I am also not yet ready for Florida. . . we plan, life happens and we just need to remain open for what joy there is to had, as it becomes available. . .
Hugs, Laureen
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

I feel very blessed to have Tony in my life. Like I said we are the best of friends. That will have to be all for now.
Yes, my family and I are very close....I really do feel at home here. I am so lucky!!
I wish you and your Tony the best of everything. Hope you have a long and wonderful relationship.
Hugs....connie d
The weather here is marvelous and as long as it's not raining, I'll be outside with my fur kids.
I searched for "lumpia" and found the following information.
Lumpia are pastries of Chinese origin similar to fresh popiah or fried spring rolls popular in Indonesia and the Philippines. The term lumpia derives from Hokkien lunpia (traditional Chinese: 潤餅; pinyin: rùnbǐng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: jūn-piáⁿ, lūn-piáⁿ), which is an alternate term for "popiah". The recipe, both fried and fresh versions, was brought by the Chinese immigrants from the Fujian province of China to Southeast Asia and became popular where they settled in Indonesia and the Philippines.Lumpia
Have a good one.

Not much going on here ... It rained last night and is cloudy again, so my body isn't feeling good ... headache, backache, you name it, everything aches. I woke up coughing last night and had a problem getting back to sleep. Other than that, not a whole to say. Going to watch baseball, do laundry, hang around the house. Made a big pot of coffee and threw some protein in a cup and that's all that I'm doing now, just getting by.
Have a good one.
