What's New on Sunday?
Oh, I so agree.....Otherwise people could just sin and run rampant up until 5:45 p.m., then run get saved, and be all ready to go at 6:00 p.m.!!!
Really can get one crazy indeed.
Congrat's on your weight loss. Knew you could do it. Toenail cutting is a milestone, at least for me it was.Happy for you women.

Oh, Connie, you are so sweet! Thank you for the daily prayers. We've been married almost 30 years (just a few more days until our anniversary), but he's been gone overseas almost half of that! People tell me that I must be used to it. Well, yes, I am and I cope, but that doesn't make it any easier some days!!!
Oh how I wish I could send you some of these green beans! They are overflowing my kitchen this morning.
Many, many congrats to Nic today!!!

Hi Vickie,
Isn't today your three month post-op anniversary? I was thrilled when I could cut my toenails.
I agree with what you said. We aren't supposed to know the day or the time of the Lord's return, or, as you said, people could just live like the devil till right before the rapture.
I hope you have a terrific day, and that you got your chance to talk to hubby. My sis-in-law is engaged to a man who is working in Saudi Arabia. Not sure what his future career plans are, but he is only in the states for a month in the summer, and a couple of weeks at Christmas. She certainly cannot move there. They are to be married in July. Could be an interesting marriage. She was married to my older brother for 30 years, before the Lord called him home in 2008.
Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish! Aren't you sweet to notice it's my 3 month anniversary? Hubby and I were just talking about that on the phone this morning. Almost 50 pounds gone forever. Woot!
Wow, I thought my husband's schedule was tough. I don't know how your SIL will deal with her new husband's schedule, but I agree with her. I wouldn't move over to the Middle East for love or money. I am content to sit here and let hubby travel back and forth to me. The only place he has ever been that I've considered moving to was Brazil. I would have loved to have gone there. But I had a toddler and an infant at the time, and I wouldn't make the move with them. They were too little.
How are you feeling today? How's them toes, sista?

Thanks for asking about my toes. Two are still pretty swollen, and hurt like Heck when I am standing. I got the x-ray on Friday, and am hoping the doc will read the results and call me to come in sooner than my next appointment, which is in two weeks.
My sis-in-law's fiance has been looking into work over here. He is retired military, teaching English over there. He does not have teaching credentials, but we shall see. They talk, text, or skype almost daily.
Hugs,
Trish

I had hammertoe surgery exactly two months ago, and the swelling only went down in one of the three toes, the one in the middle. He first needs to see if I reinjured them, as they are easy to stub, and my grandchildren and dog like to step on those three in particular, by accident of course.
Good idea to look into it though.
Thanks,
Trish

I had to laugh when you said you were excited to cut your own toenails again. I remember calling my best friend all excited that I could SEE my toenails again, without a mirror.
It's the little things, isn't it???
I'm 5 years post op and still enjoying the journey.
Congrats on your continuing success.

You will be seeing a lot of changes and wow moments. clipping toenails is the first of many... Like being able to cross your legs. That was a big one for me. Enjoy the new experiences.
As far as the second coming is concerned....I decided a long time ago that I did not want to be on the planning committee. I would just be on the welcoming committee. Works for me.
