What's New on Sunday?
Hi Trish and my OFF family:
Hot and humid here today ...90 degrees with 53 percent humidity, so it feels like 97. I have to work tonight, so I'll stay inside until I have to work, then go to my air-conditioned car, then into the a/c at work.
I feel much better after two days off. Rested. I did laundry and watched baseball all day yesterday ... read two magazines, played online, finished up one book ("My Lady of Cleves" about Henry VIII fourth wife, Anne of Cleves, very interesting) and started another, "The Blind Side". Talked to my mom and brother via Skype this morning; Gary is having some guys come over to give estimates on windows for Mom's house; she hasn't had them replaced since dad was alive (and he died in 1984). The attic windows are so bad there was snow coming in. My brothers say she has the money, so they just have to take it slow with her on the home improvement, no matter how much she needs them.
The humidity is bothering my knee, of course, it hurts; then I conked the back of my head on the freezer door. So I have an ice pack on my right knee and another on my head.
Oh well, at least it keeps me cool.
Take care.

LINDA - I will certainly keep you and your mother in prayer. Also, good wishes that you stay on your food plan. It looks like you have a good plan.
VICKIE - Congratulations on the three months and your weight loss success. Can hardly wait for my turn.
CONNIE - Congratulations on the wonderful day for Nic. Thanks for sharing with us.
I had my hopefully last pre-op test today, an ultrasound of the gallbladder. Yesterday, I saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Not the best film I have ever seen, but still fun.
Night all.
