TGIF What's New?

Hang in there, Sharon!  Your time is coming!

When my kids visit, we wind up with 4 dogs in the house.  It gets a little crazy!!!  But fun, right?  Glad you got your family with you for the weekend. 

 My client and I stopped for a drink. A young couple with a baby were sitting outside and we noticed the lump wiggling under his shirt. A puppy!!

Naturally we went to investigate. Bad move. They needed to get rid of the puppy because they couldn't afford him and the baby.

He is an 8 week old, black miniature pinscher. Yes, I brought him home.

He is so tiny yet FULL of energy. The cats can't figure out what I brought home but they haven't hissed or patted his head yet.

He has an appointment with our Vet but so far he looks very healthy.

Excuse my language but Tom will **** a brick, especially after all my vows of no more animals. Ho hum .... this little fellow needed a new home.

I'll let you know when he gets a name.

If Tom gets upset, just remind him it could be worse.  It was either the puppy or the baby, since they couldn't afford both.  I think you made the appropriate choice......

Good thing the guy didn't have a whole litter of kittens crawling around under his shirt.  Especially if they were black ones......

The introduction went as expected. Tom gave me "the look" then picked up the puppy. Love at first sight.

The couple probably would have given me the baby. I may be nuts, but not that crazy.

Miniature pinschers are adorable little dogs!  I can only imagine how cute a puppy is!  No wonder you couldn't resist.

He really is cute and oh so little. I had forgotten how sharp puppy teeth are though. He needs some chewies.

Ah, yes!  I remember.  I had to say the "No Bite" command over and over and over again.  Post a picture soon!

So another black animal, Annette, huh? Glad the kitties got along with him. I have considered a cat friend for Juliette, and I think she would get along, but my pocketbook isn't ready for it yet.

The young couple did paint his toenail hot pink, but other than that, all black.

My pocketbook wasn't prepared for this either. He's so little, the food won't cost much. Our Vet always gives a nice discount.

Oh Tom will just love having a new addition.....you are too wonderful. These are really cute dogs, the cats will rule him/her totally. I know our Sebastion ruled the house, all 6 dogs knew that Sebby could get them "good" with one swipe. When we brought a new dog into our home...the husky Panda, the two were total enemies. Panda hated cats, got along fine with the other dogs. So Sebby took the high ground, lived on top of frig for 6 months and traveled the house on counters, tables, and shelves. Finally Sebby decided to take back the entire house. He faced off with Panda and with one swipe of his paw, Panda caved into the power of the cat. From that point on the 6 dogs and 1 cat all did well together, often with them cuddling on the couch or floor. Just wish the 3 teenagers could have been controlled that well.
