Whenever I have a yard sale (as infrequently as possible, I assure you)... After the sale is over I push everything that's left out to the curb, and usually while I'm writing "FREE" on a piece of paper to attach to it, someone stops and takes all of it.   There are people who do only that, after the sales are over.  Once in a while there's something that's just too good to give away, and I remove that first, but for the most part, everything is GONE!!!!  Nothing I wanted, anyhow, and I fiigure one way or another someone else can use it or take care of the disposal.

Good morning Trish and OFF!

It's another hot day here in East Texas.  AC is already going full blast.  Sigh.  It will be this way for the rest of the summer. 

But the good news is that it's June 1st and my husband will be home in just 11 more days. 

I very nearly finished my baby quilt yesterday evening.  I just have to sew down the back side of the binding this morning.  To me, that's the hardest part.  I decided to leave it until this morning when I am fresh to tackle it.

You gals who can shop your local Goodwills or Salvation Army stores are LUCKY!  Our Goodwill here is lousy.  And besides, I can rarely buy clothes off the rack anyway.  I'm too tall.  Nothing fits right.  So count your lucky stars.

Got lots to do today.  Leaving for Hilltop Friday morning.  Lots to finish up and gather up before I can leave.  Better get to it!

Good morning everyone, just checking in real quick to say hi!  Today my DH and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary.  We kicked it off with a visit to the doctor, lol, not much fun but oh well.  Later we'll be going out to dinner and then off to see "Pirates of the Caribbean".  Have a great day everyone!

Morning or should I say almost afternoon Trish and OFF family!!!

Just got back from dentist and man you would think they were digging to china the way they clean your teeth!!!! WOW!!!! Anyhow I mentioned to them how it hurt to chew on the crown they put in awhile back and so the dr took it down some and told me to try it and see how that worked out. Well I got home and made a turkey sandwich and it seems to be the other tooth now that is the problem?? Not sure but he said to try it for a couple weeks so I will do that.

Well the guy that has the german shepherd that has been terrorizing Bandit and other dogs has left. He boy did he leave!!! OMG what a mess he left behind!!! Seems he also left behind his ferret!! One of the other tennants found it in the hallway and she took it in and fed it. Manager went to his apartment and found it empty and full of dog poop and dirty dishes and broken apliances that all were brand new!!! The bathtub is also broken...the guy tore the place up in the month that he was there!!!! Brand new carpeting ruined!!! Everything ruined!!!! OMG!!!!!!! Rick is getting sick cleaning this place and he told me not to come look at it or I would get sick as well!!!!!

Weather here is nice today 75* and nice breeze...pool water it at 80*...might be able to put these old bones in it after all...lol

Well need to get going have to get things ready to pack for vacation that I can pack now...might as well get a head start on it while I am off today... :-)

Well, we all knew that German shepherd guy had a screw loose!  So sorry Rick is having to deal with his mess, but Thank God he is GONE!  Life is too short to have to deal with people like that.

Girl, you sound so happy these days!  You are just having too much fun.  You are going to have a ball on your vacation! 

Well Rick is the NEW cleaner upper of the complex lol so its his new job here and he is having "****" fits right now lmao sorry but had to say it...lol just hope they can catch up with this guy and they can press charges on him also for leaving that poor ferret behind!!!! I don't care for them but still to leave it behind like he did!!! Shame on him!!!

Oh this vacation will be a blast!!! Seeing my mom and my family is going to be awesome and then also my friends Phyllis and her husband Jon will be going with us up to the bridge so it will be alot of fun!!! OMG only a couple more days and off we go!!!!!!!!!!! The weather has been nasty in Michigan but hopefully it will be nice for us when we gfet there!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!?????

Nothing much is going on in my neck of the woods.  It has been a very mild spring for our area.  It is usually quite hot by this time of year, but it is actually very pleasant.

I am back at work and as usual, it is very busy.  We are working on our palliative care program and there are lots of things to organize. 

I made a decision to get serious about weight loss before surgery, so am "gasp" eating right and exercising.  I kind of had a "Gotta eat everything now because I won't be able to after WLS".  That was pretty destructive and I really need to come to terms with this major choice I am making.

Uh huh!  Been there, done that!  I thought I had to say "goodbye" to every treat on the planet.  Crazy "head" stuff going on with you right now, but it will get better.  I promise! 

Thought I would NEVER be able to give up Coke, but I never even think about it now.  Thought I would miss and crave chocolate, but I don't.  I do still crave a bite of something sweet every now and then, but for the most part, I gave up sugar without a struggle. 

I do still miss chips and salsa.  I'm from Texas.  Salsa is one of the major food groups here.  Ironically, I could have the salsa--it's healthy.  It's the chips I can't have.  Somehow salsa on a piece of celery just doesn't quite work . . . !

When is your surgery scheduled?

 I did the same thing. Thought I had to taste every treat known to man before my WLS. Thank God I was able to stop the insanity before my surgeon got irritated. I am glad you are eating right now. I'm so happy for you.    Mag
