Manic Monday What's cooking Ladies
Morning Cindi, OFFr's,
Feeling tired and can't wait for this day to end, as I have been up since 4:15 this morning, needed to be in work for 7:30 and I had to go to the gym as I never made it there over the weekend, which was mainly because of unexpected changes, they were good ones, but threw my schedule off and I really am trying to get to the gym four times a week minimum, though it is not showing up on the scale, I just tell myself that scale or not, I will be healthier for having gone and spent my time wisely there. . .
Friday night was a very frustrating commute home, with stormy weather came accidents and a highway closure of the highway I take home, other highway had a 2.5 hour back up and I wouldn't consider that one on a Friday because it is the one everyone takes to the Shore (Beach). Anyway, I left work at 4:50 p.m. and finally arrived home in my town at 7:20 p.m., which made me have to cancel my dinner plans, when I arrived home I went and got myself a grilled chicken ceasar salad. Saturday I was beat, so I gave myself permission to relax, did laundry, finished putting my suitcase away, play Zuma blitz and went to lunch with my friend that I was supposed to have dinner with on Friday night, then home again, AA women's meeting, hung with Owen for 1/2 hour and home to bed, because Tony had called me after the Yankee game he went to with his buddies (he witnessed history with Jeter making ****s and the homerun that put him in the 3000 hit club), anyway he called to say that he was coming on Sunday and I was surprised, as I figured he would want to stay home and relax since he had worked Friday night until 3 a.m. and then got up to go to the ball game, anyway, we went to breakfast, hung out and then went to my favorite Chinese Restaurant, which made the top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the Country and then home again, after he left, I drove to Delaware to meet up with a new sponsee, took her to Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza and then we attended a meeting together, home, put my clothes together for today, my food and I went to sleep. . . So right now it feels like I need to go back to bed, you can bet I will be in bed by 9:30 tonight . . .
Well I'm here at work and that's it folks. . .
Have a great day! Sending thoughts of peace and strength to those facing life challenges.
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Hello LL (lovely Ladies!) Hope you will welcome a newby...a 75 year old! Sorry I do not have a Picture of me, I need to find out how to get one on here.... I will be having surgery soon in St. Augustine, FL at the Flagler Hospital. I feel truely blessed in my drawing this Center of Excellence and in my dear Doctor Marema, who had the RNY years ago and has done over 7000 in his career!! He did not bat an eyelash when he saw my age and morbidity group!
Hope I have not overloaded you all at the outset here, I feel that you are the kind of women who would want to accept a 75 year old newby to guide...thank you each one
