Good morning Jane and everyone...
I am planning nothing for the weekend just alot more rest and relaxation. Jamie is here today to tend to Grace so I can do just that.
My pain is getting better but not great yet....I sure do recover much slower as I get older that is for sure.
Nic took his "Neon Green" Bug up to MN to visit with family last night. He will be back on Friday. I am going to miss him!!

Haven't seen you for awhile, Jane, glad you're still here.
Yeah, your life is about as exciting as mine. I have had three days off and hardly left the house, other than to get mail. Yesterday, after my exciting run to the stores, I came home, had lunch, made my famous blueberry muffins (yes, in 100-plus degree heat, I'm baking ... hey, the a/c's running), ran out to get the mail, stopped at the apt. office and gave the ladies in the office and Alvin, the maintenance, some muffins (the apt. manager, Carol, is diabetic, and these are WLS friendly muffins, so they are also diabetic friendly); looked at tablets/e-readers; had dinner, watched baseball (White Sox finally won), read, went to sleep. Don't I live an exciting life?
So it's back to work tonight. Ah well, it's a job. No news on the job front. My friend Kim from Michigan had a offer at a paper in Arizona but turned it down. She isn't used to moving and starting life alone. It wasn't a great offer, but more money than she was making. She had been laid off in November from the Grand Rapids paper, took the first offer she got but for a lot less money than she was making.
Not much else happening here. Just hanging around, waiting to go to work. Slept well enough last night. Just made coffee that I'll make into iced coffee ... can't afford Starbucks this week, so I'll make my own.
