Sorry you got sick. I guess I have a cast-iron stomach (or pouch, in this case) because nothing bothers me. If it upsets you that much, don't take it. But talk to your doctor. That's too bad. I know it's helped me so much.

I am hoping it was because I took it WITH the vicodin and that is why I got sick. So tonight I am taking it without. So if I get sick again I will call the dr I promise!

Hi Judy,
I have been taking Cymbalta for a couple of years now, for depression mainly.  My psychiatrist switched me to it when I started having the chronic pain issues, to kill two birds with one stone.  Works like a charm for my depression, but it didn't make much of a difference with the pain, but my pain is more from herniated discs and pinched nerves.

Hope you get some relief.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish!

My dr put me on this because he thinks I have the start of fibromylasia. I also had blood test done yesterday and waiting for the results. Glad that its helping your depression!! Not much can be done for the herniated disc's and pinched nerve's. But then my pain dr probably could help you with them.

Thanks for responding!

Hi Judy,
I see a pain specialist for the back issues.  We have done cortisone shots and rhizotomies, which is laser burning the ends of the nerves.  Those things have helped immensely.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning all,

Not much happening, thank goodness. Bed changed, bathroom & kitchen cleaned, laundry in progress, Baxter sleeping, cats sleeping, time for a nap.

Last night I had a gigundous panic attack. Those big ones wipe me out for a day. Although not much fun, easier knowing what to expect and how to get through them.

 Good morning Eileen and everyone.......

Eileen....I too have had headaches the last couple days...darn weather changing!! Hope you feel better soon.

I am HAPPY about one thing....I get to go to St Cloud, MN soon!!
There will be a benefit for my friend Chuck on the 31st and I will be there!! Proceeds will go to his daughter Tori (19). I will not come back to Iowa until the 5th. Plenty of me time and time with my friends!!
I was almost afraid to post this as the last three times I was going it didn't work out. I needed new tires and brakes then couldn't afford to go. Then fell down the stairs....too bruised and in pain to go. Then had the infusion and had a horrible reaction and couldn't go.
I really, really need this mini vacation.....hope God understands and makes it safe for me to go!

I am going to do a little cleaning as our cleaning lady doesn't start until the 8th. I will be thrilled when she can do it!!

I started using the elliptical now....my doctor recommended I start when I feel better. I started yesterday. I plan on doing it 5 days a week. Yesterday all I could do was 15 minutes but I know I will gradually work my way up to longer times, hills etc.. I am really going to try to make this part of my daily routine...I have too.

I need to go for now. Wishing you all a great day!!
Prayers for those in need...special ones for Karen C and of course Morgan.

Love and hugs to all.......connie d
