As for the fleas...Its a waste of money to get those sprays and over the counter things...go straight to the vet and get the good stuff and be done with it. Fleas are blood suckers and can kill an animal if left untreated.

Morning OFF family...well I am up and so far not hurting to much but I can feel it starting!!! I called the pain dr yesterday and I have an appointment for 10am tomorrow morning to see what he can do for me.
Had Bandit out for his potty walk this morning and ran into the guy that cuts the lawn here and asked him if he would PLEASE cut the back behind our place before it rains the rest of the week because of the party sunday for Rick. He said he would. He is out there right now!!! :-) Thankyou Ted!!!! Supposed to rain the rest of the week here and be nice Sunday!!! Thankyou God!!! Now if I can get the place ready for the party I will be all set except for the food that has to be cooked saturday and sunday. Looks like so far 25 people will be here. Yes Rick's mom and daughter will be here also. But enough people will be here so I won't be "stuck" near her...lol. I guess shesked what she could bring and Rick told her whatever she wanted to. I told him to call her back and tell her she didn't need to bring anything!!!!! I AM THE ONE GIVING HIM THE PARTY!!!!!!!!!! I know how she works...she will make it look like SHE is the one doing it for him and not me...well I am not letting her take this away from me at all!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!!!!
Yesterday at work I had a "talking" to. Seems I shouldn't have left a note on the chest freezer for the other workers. Well I wanted to be sure ALL of them knew they should ALL move the chest freezer and CLEAN under it because I found so much food under it last week along with ants it made me want to vomit!!!! Yeah!!!! I found parts of pretzels, enough cheese from the pizzas to make another pizza, several pieces of pepperoni and a pizza disc!!!!!! Now why, if you dropped these things, why wouldn't you clean them up?????? Nope...its easier to leave them for Judy to clean it all up than do it. So guess who gets in trouble for asking nicely in a note to please clean up after themselves if they drop things on the floor??? ME!!!!! I give up!!!!!! I told her that if she saw the ants like I did she would have done that same thing!!! Well she didn't agree with me at all. GRRRRRR So no more. Next mess like that I will call her to see what I found!!!!!!! OK end of sounding off. Sorry.
Well I guess I sounded off quite a bit this morning so sorry!!! So I best get my butt in gear while I can and get something done before I hurt to much!!!

Just a quick note today. We're off to Home Depot for more supplies. Bath remodel is in full swing today. Yesterday we hung sheetrock. Today we are floating and taping and "mudding". Doesn't that sound like fun?
Tomorrow we're laying the ceramic tile floor. More fun.

You are so busy even with surgery staring you in the face. Boy, I don't know if I would be.
As for the fleas, yeah, the cheap stuff doesn't work. Get the good stuff. I am taking Juliette to the vet Thursday for her yearly checkup. She is healthy and I don't think she has any fleas. At least I hope not.
My zucchini bread was extra good yesterday; it went quickly at work. Yummy, but it was messy making it. The zucchini had been in the freezer and I was trying to pour off the excess moisture and got it all over the counter, on the floor ... yuck! I am not a neat cook. Then, one of the eggshells was stuck in the carton and I had to spoon out the egg. Another mess. Oh well, the final result was good.
I slept well last night after not sleeping the night before. My right knee has really been bothering me. I wish I knew why ... it's that same old pain ... feels like someone is sticking a knife in the top of the knee where the old patellar tendon was ... but it's not there anymore. I'm wary of going to a new doc down here.
Well, anyway, I should get in the shower and think about lunch. Have a good day.
Not feeling well today....have a really bad UTI....have taken 1,000 mg. of Keflex so far and finally getting some relief.....besides drinking half a bottle of cranberry juice. Don't know what brought it on, but it sure hurts.
Baby bib is nearly done, and thinking about what to put on the next two....yeah, now have 2 more to do. Must be something in the water around here!
Tomorrow we start the downward trend to more fall-like weather.....we've been mighty lucky with all the sun and warm temps for nearly 2 weeks now.
Hope Trish's surgery went well. Prayers for Nancy on her upcoming surgery and good thoughts and wishes for everyone here.
