Super Saturday Whatcha Doing?

 Good Morning OFF Family,
How is everybody this morning?   Good I hope. I woke up with a killer headache. You know the kind where laying down hurts more than sitting up?  I'm hoping a warm shower and my sinus meds chase it away. We have a busy fun filled day ahead of us. 

First, I am heading to an AA meeting here in town. Then I am heading to the local middle school soccer fields to watch Isabel in her soccer game. Then, this evening I her dance recital. She is adorable in her tiger costume with the ears and tutu.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Tri**** is so nice to be close enough to grandkids to attend their functions!
Today I will work on monkey booties. My new great grandson is gonna have monkeys as his 'theme'. I am surprised at how many monkey things there are out there.
We are gonna have a rainy weekend. I just got my automatic soaker hoses programmed. I'll turn them off til next week I guess.
I did not participate in Relay For Life this year. I did sponsor my DIL and grandson. I hope they had a great turn out!

Good morning Trish and Grammy!

It's just me and the deer up so far this morning.  I did hear Benny talking to his bear around 6 a.m., but he must have dropped back off ot sleep.  I sure was glad.  I wasn't ready to get up yet!

Don't know what all we'll find to do today.  I need to go buy more deer corn.  My little mommies and yearlings were all waiting for me this morning. I fed them an extra ration since those big greedy bucks weren't here this morning to eat more than their share.  Little Mommy was right by my side the whole time.  I want to buy her some apples!

We found out yesterday that Benny's daddy quit his job at the hotel, the one where he had insurance coverage for Benny.  *******  He kept his other job, of course.  The one where he stays out all night.  Of course, HE didn't call to tell Christie these things.  He had his mother do it for him.  You see?  He's just going to walk away from them both with as little responsibility as he can legally manage.

So, never mind about him.  Chris got on-line and applied for the state assistance program for children here in Texas called CHIPS.  It's a good program and we'll be able to manage Benny's health care costs with it.  Takes about 2 weeks to be approved and then we'll find a new pediatrician for Benny in New Braunfels. 

In the meantime, the job hunt continues.  Hopefully Chris will find something soon.

I made more progress on the house yesterday.  I got the built-in bookcase in the dining room cleaned out and we put some of the overflow groceries from the kitchen pantry there.  Made things much nicer and easier to get to.  This kitchen is adequate, but not spacious.  I have plans to gut it and re-do it entirely after we sell our big house.  For now, though, it's crowded. We have to manage our space carefully.  The biggest thing I miss is having 2 refrigerators!  I've always had an extra frig in the garage.   

Today I'm going to tackle some really bad spots on the carpet.  Again, I plan to rip it all up and put down hardwood floors throughout the house one day, but for now we have to deal with the dogs and the carpet.  Can't have my little man playing on a dirty carpet, now can I?

Morning Trish and OFF family!!

It is cold here today! 41* and drizzle!! BRRRRRR East coast could see some snow I hear. They can keep it!

We went out for breakfast this morning and it was the worst breakfast we ever had!! Will NOT go there again that is for sure! Then we went with Carol to help her set up her equipment for the sock hop tonight at the VFW. looking forward to that! Bar Bingo at 5 and hopefully we can win some money playing that! ;-)

Waiting on 2 people to move in the last 2 apartments that are open and then we are all done renting. Bonuses are on the way now I was told. I sure hope so!! Was asked again yesterday if I knew anyone that would be interested in managing complexes. Not off hand. If anyone here in Ohio wants to manage let me know ASAP. There are two different complexes I think she said 44 and 46 units. Free rent and utilities. One is near Akron. Can't remember where the other one is at but can find out.

Nothing much happening here except keeping things running smooth. Happy the weather is nice but now its back to being cold and that makes everyone go back inside again. Mother Nature sure is messed up isn't she?

Well time to go to the store and get some much needed food for the week.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Sorry about your headache ... must be the weather. We are having cloudy weather and rain ... or at least it rained last night. I woke up with sciatica at 9 this morning ... right side this time. Really bad. Took a vicodin, put some Biofreeze on it and went back to sleep. Still hurt a bit when I woke up again about noonish but not quite so bad. Put an icebag on it and it was helpful. Got to work tonight so I hope it won't hurt so much.

Not much else happening. Need to restart my computer. See ya later.

Hi Not much going on here but rain. I got a new tent last night. It is a Eureka Copoer Canyon 4 Very Spacious. should hold up to the Colorado weather.
I did buy a Coleman nine instant up tent but took it back i didnt like the workmanship of it, it was crappy.
