Thursday What's Happening?
I am up all night, in pain with digestive issues. My psychiatirist has me tapering off my anitdepressant because my kidney doc thinks it is causing my sodium levels in my blood to be low. My son left for Pittsburgh, and I already miss having him here. Utley was moping around here all evening, till I got his favorite ball out of hiding.
I saw the orthopedist, and did not learn anything new. My MRI showed nothing explaining my pain. I plan to go back to see my original orthopedist, not the associate. My regular orthopedist told me he thinks I damaged a nerve in my neck when I hit my face and broke my nose. His associate had my middle back MRIed. Go figure.
No word on the baby yet. My poor daughter is so tired of waiting. And so am I.
Thursday has me putzing around the apartment, and making an AA meeting. Depending on how my back feels, I might get to my Bible study.

Trish, I hurt for you. I hope you can find relief from all of your pain!
Yesterday I got the Indian Maiden and Witch outfits done for our daughter's friend's daughters. Today the jammies. I have been putting them off! Plus I need to sew snaps on a couple of the things.
The housekeepers come this morning and they won't be able to clean that back bedroom. Which is OK. When I am totally done, I run the vacuum in there to pick up all the thread, scraps and pins in the carpet.
Record highs today! But it is also bringing the humidity. I guess we have to take the bad with the good!

My daughter's husband texted me around 5:00 to say my daughter is in the hospital, in labor. Praise the Lord.

I just got back from taking my 5 yr old to school. yes I still have the kids!!!!! Last night I didnt sleep good I found my 2 yr old in my bed between Carl and i.
Got my car all cleaned out yesterday!!!! It looks so good!!!!!
Well going to go and get the little one dressed.

Vicky, you are one busy bee! Reminds me of how I used to be before my divorce. Sewing for everyone and loving it. Now I don't even have time to hem a skirt.
Anyway, I'm sitting in a computer lab, proctoring a computer-based test. It's supposed to assess college readiness, but the website crashed and now I'm stuck with 17 stressed/bored/hungry high school juniors. Oy vey.
Yesterday was fun though. Took 25 ELLs (English Language Learners) to the Everglades National Park on a field trip. Once we got past the heat, mosquitos and humidity, we had a great time, including stepping over alligators. Seriously.
Well, the website is still down and the kids are getting unruly, so I have to go.

Hot and humid here today. Not much happening. I have a dentist appointment today ... redo of last week when I forgot to take my premed. I remembered this week.
I had some problems sleeping last night ... night sweats, etc. I moved some stuff around in the apartment ... and hung some pictures. Found my Old Comiskey Park poster with broken glass. Fortunately, this was something I framed myself.
Anyway, I have to get going into the shower to get ready for my appointment. Going into work early because I'm doing advance pages with no deadline.
I couldn't sleep because of pain again last night. I got up at midnite and cleaned the house. I vacuumed this morning. YAY, all done for another week!
I went tanning this morning. That always makes my pain feel better even if it doesn't last long.
Nothing else going on for me today. It will be hot and humid here today too. I love the hot part but not the humidity!

Hello everyone,
Benny is still napping, so I have a minute to post. So excited about Trish's new grandson. Wonderful news!
I caught a bad headache this afternoon. I was fine all morning, but around 1 p.m. I started feeling it come on. Fortunately, I put Benny down for a nap and I could lie down, too. Took a couple of extra strength Tylenol, although I don't know why I bothered. Tylenol doesn't do crap for me. I sure do miss my Advil! But I'm up and functioning now, so that's good. Head is still hurting a bit, but not too badly.
Chris is working tonight, so it's just me and Benny Bop this evening. We may just hang out in our tee shirts inside the house. It's too hot to go outside and play this evening. The heat always makes my head hurt worse.
Less than a week now until my husband comes home. Ask me if I am counting the days! I am really missing him. For some reason the last week is always the hardest for me. The days just seem to drag on and on . . .
Not much else to post about today. I'm just kinda blah right now. Guess I'm experiencing a bit of a let down after all the excitement and adjustments from this past month. I feel a little overwhelmed by all the changes in our lives and by this big commitment I've made to our daughter and to Benny. Not that I would do anything different. But it has turned my life upside down. I think reality is starting to set in. Part of me keeps thinking I'll wake up tomorrow and things will be back to normal. Ha! This IS normal, now. I've just got to adjust.
It will be better with Butch here next week. That man is my rock. I can handle just about anything as long as we do it together as a team.
