Thursday What's Happening?
Good Morning Family,
I hope everyone had a good night's sleep. While I slept like a log, it was too short. I'll probably go back to sleep in a little whilel
Today, I am supposed to go over to the hospital where I work and get some training. but I really feel like poo, and totally not up to it. So, I'll probably call out and rest.
We did not have mail delivery here yesterday. There was a lightning strike at a chemical plant about a mile from me, and it set fire to two huge tanks of chemicals. The chemical odor just blanketed the area, and residents were advised to keep doors and windows closed. The schools in town were closed, and the post office suspended delivery as well. I hope today's air is clear.

That sounds scarry to me Trish!! Wow!!
Well today we have our inspection from USDA Rural Developement. Nervous? Oh yeah! But Hope and Pray that we pass this inspection! Been working hard to make things nice so hopefully we did ok! This headache will finally be gone til next time...lol
Had to give one of my new tenants an evition notice yesterday and before I could call him back on it I get a phone call from him this morning telling me he is moved out already!!! OMG!! Oh well....this guy has had his girlfriend move in with him without letting me know, has two dogs also without letting me know....told me he would pay his rent last friday and still hasn't paid it...and then he puts his AC unit in and attaches wood to the frame of the building which s a huge NO-NO!! I can hardly wait to see what the NEW carpet looks like!!!
Well time to get over to the office and start my day. Hope you all have a good one.

Judy, deep breathes! You'll do fine! You've worked so hard, there is no way you can fail.
Our DIL dropped off an exercise video she wants me to copy for her. I'll get that done and then finish a few more scrubbies so I can get them in the mail to my BIL.
Tomorrow, off to SC. I'll take my grandson to dinner, then Saturday afternoon is the awards ceremony and a cook out. In the evening, there is a dance. Not sure where they are getting the girls from, it's an all boy school! Then Sunday morning everyone has to attend the dang parade before we can pack everything in the car and get outta there.
I'm sure his leaving will be bittersweet. He had a great time there, made "rank" quickly, got great grades and has lots of friends. BUT, he wants to do his senior year in OR. At least that is how he feels now.
Anyway, not much else happening here at the moment.

I am not doing much today. Over did it the last three days. It is supposed to be in the 80s today. I plan on setting out on the deck and reading a book. I am meeting a friend for lunch later.

I am busy today which is good. Having morning gab session with friends here. One couple is here for the day. We are meeting for lunch. Also a friend is here from Portland. We are having dinner tonight.

Judy - I second Grammylew's suggestion, take a deep breath, you'll survive the inspection. Sounds like you got rid of a bad tenant. And I suspect the deposit will be forfeited.
Well today the sun is shining. I got interupted writing this post by my neighbor who stopped by. Then I spent an hour raking and uncovering my hostas and peonies. The black flies finally drove me back into the house.
Tomorrow I go see my surgeon for my belated 6 month checkup. These past two weeks I've been bothered by a burning sensation just below my sternum. Not angina more like acid indigestion. I'm worried about strictures or a leak. We'll see what she says. No fever, my blood work last week was perfect so I don't think it's an infection. Maybe it's just the change in scenery.
Not much else to report. I'm going to enjoy this sunny Maine day and hope that the weather holds through the weekend so I can get the yard into shape a bit more. Certainly can tell the difference in my health this year. Willingly went out and worked in the yard for over an hour without a break! So proud of me.

I am slowly bouncing back from being sick all week. I had a horrible yeast infection develop last Sunday (have no idea why--haven't had one in years) and then I got vertigo on top of that! Today is the first day since we returned home that I feel halfway normal. I feel so frustrated with myself. I have so much work to do around here, and I can barely keep up with feeding Benny and washing the clothes. Mom is coming out to help every day or I wouldn't have made it this far.
I am taking medicine for the vertigo, but it makes me so sleepy and drowsy. I'm trying to taper off of it today, but my head is starting to "swim" again. Dammit. I need to be working.
Don't have much free time for the computer, but I am trying to read all the posts each day. Love you all!

Im with you being sick, I have had a terrible migraine for the last 3 days. Can hardly keep my eyes open. today is the first day I am verticle. I had to go to Jewish Family Services with my Cousin so she could get some help finding decent housing for her family. I dont have the finances to help her get into a rental. They r in a house that is full of black mold. I think that is why I got sick. I was there helping her tear up floors.
I was going to take her 5 yr old son with me to Colorado but Im going to be gone for over a month and I think that is to long for him to be away from his mother so Im not going to take him. Plus he get to not want to listen to me so that is not good.
I am leaving on the 24th or 25th.
I am back on track loosing my 16 pound regain Ive lost 11 pounds this past month and Im glad. I need to loos 6 more. I know I can do it but not by the 21st when I see my doc.....
I see my surgeon when I go to denver so maybe ill loose the last 6 by the 18th of june if I watch the road food!!!!!.....
Well my head is spinning again so im going to lay down again.
