Terrific Tuesday What's Happening?

Good Morning OFF Family,
Well, I went to bed early, so now I am up early.  I have a busy day ahead of me.  I need to call my doctor to get an appointment.  I have a strange rash, which is bothering me.  I want the doc to check it out.  I also have to get blood work done, and go to two other doctors' offices, one for a B12 shot, and one for a pain med check.

I am making progress in my bedroom.  I want it nice for when I am recuperating from the surgery.  I had really let it get chaotic there for a while.

    Trish: Praying you have strength to make it through the day without exhaustion.

    My car broke down this weekend. Taking it to the shop today. If it's something really bad I won't know what to do. Buy a cheap used car? I'm afraid of getting someone else's headache. Having to drive Ellen to work because I have a pulmonary function test and then my pulmonary doctor. Luckily the appointments are only 4 blocks from where Ellen works. Don't have to go clear across the city. It's an hour to and from our house to her work. Ellen does it 4 or 5 days a week. Her car gets 50 miles to the gallon (diesel.) Thank goodness for that.
 
      Changed my bedding over to the summer colors and weight. Still sweating last night. Have been doing that for about a week now. Only slept four and a half hours last night. Probably need a nap later. Then I'm going to work on reclaiming the office. I have many papers to file.

Mag, 'new' used car, or do repairs? That's always a toughy. I hope your repair is minor!
Such a wonderful weekend. Saturday had people over for homemade lasagna. Mmmmmm, mmm, good. Then yesterday was a big BBQ. Beef tenderloin cut into steaks, herbed taters on the grill, squash, baked beans, beet salad, 7 layer dip, sausage in puff pastry, apple pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, and bananas foster. Lots of people came. Including our grumpy-gus grandson! He brought a friend. Our grandaughter had her boyfriend here and they all sat out on the balconey in the new furniture and visited. I think that is the most brother and sister have talked in...well forever!! And when he left he gave us all a hug and kiss and gave his sister a pat on the back. I guess his form of affection! Sent all the leftovers home with everyone. Except the granddaughter wanted the apple pie left here. Her Mom thought she meant a piece of pie and started to cut it. Nope she wanted the entire 1/2 of the pie left. I guess she plans on some pie eating this week.
Our daughter left for Medford this AM. She will be back Thursday. After school I have to take granddaughter to her Dad's house to get her basketball stuff, since summer practice starts tomorrow after school. (she was supposed to get it Sunday when she went over there to spend the night). Not looking forward to that. Her Dad will try to convince me to let her stay there while her Mom is gone, even though this has been prearranged since before I came.
Today off to Joann Fabrics. The two girls I made doll clothes for would like a doll swimsuit and towel. And I have to shorten the straps on one of the dresses I made. Gonna be a gorgeous day. I may sneek in some time by the pool around lunch time.

Afternoon OFF family...finally the temps are cooling down some!!! 78* but humid. Had some rain come through this morning and a little thunder...no biggie. Hated to go back to work...lol. Came home for lunch took Bandit out for potty walk and a tenant stops me for a much needed copy she needs for her appointment in 5 minutes!!! WTH????? I was in the office ALL morning and she waits til I am at lunch????? GRRR But me being me I went back over to the office and made the copy for her after I found it in her file!!!!!!! Made a few calls for the apartments that are coming available soon and nobody is home to give me any answers!! Crap!!!!! So I wait til tomorrow morning and if no answer by close today I send out letters to see if I get answers then. If not, new applicants get the apartments!!! Easy. Jerk Randy took today off for Vacation...didn't go anywhere except the bar all weekend. Like we wouldn't find this out...idiot!! His days are numbered.

Well enough of my ranting today...sorry. Time to get back to work and see if I can find my desk before 4 pm.

I hate typing on this stupid tablet! On Saturday my friend and I went up to Blackhawk to gamble! It is up in the mountains near the foothills. I lost ten buck at the roulette table! that was enough for me!
It would have been sweet of winning 800.00 like this dude did on one number! It probably would have fixed my car!
Oh well itvwasnt in the cards!

I have the Zig case and it has a keyboard that connects to the ipad through bluetooth and I love it.   It is like a little keyboard and computer.    

Well, I saw my doctor today.  He says I have shingles.  I am now on antivirals.    So far it is a small area that is affected.  But, boy does it hurt.

I have to stay away from anyone who has not had the chicken pox, and people with weakened immune systems.  

Would appreciate your prayers.

I feel your pain.  I am so prone to shingle outbreaks that if I travel and any little thing out of the ordinary happens, I know that I will have an outbreak.  I keep feeling a tingling under my right arm and I keep hoping that it isn't shingles.  The last time I had them in my very private privates.  Let me just say that I spent all my home time in the hot, hot bath tube.

I have had a hectic morning doing things for my sister. I finally have time to check in here. I am picking my granddaughter, Kyleigh up at 5:00PM. She is taking the light rail from Minneapolis to a smaller town outside St Cloud. There is then a bus to bring her to St Cloud. That is a lot cheaper then me driving there to get her. It only cost about $8 for her to get here. What a deal!!
