Saturday Happenings-What's Up?
Hi All,
It's my first day of summer vacation! I'm just thrilled to have all of this free time after a crazy few months of end of the school year madness! Last year at this time I was taking care of my Mom for days at a time. We were trying to see if she could stay in her home because she wanted to so much. It turned out that she had undiagnosed cancer and my time with her was an intense goodbye. I would not change the sacrifice for any money, but it was intense and hard. So this summer will be very different.
That divorce is amazing Gram. Your poor daughter... he sounds like a real piece of work! Thank goodness she is getting the hell out of Dodge.
My new obsession is miniature gardens in pots. I'm just starting so I'm searching for little outdoor furniture pieces, about 1 inch scale. They are sometimes called fairy gardens, but I'm doing them without fairies.

Hi Trish and all,
I've just stopped by the house to pick up some food to take back to where I'm dog sitting. Just wanted to say hi. Everyone take care and I'll stop back by when I can. I hate being without a computer. Are people afraid I will screw them up? Anyway, at least I have some money coming in. She's a friend so she doesn't pay full price. She has never paid me for the day they return home. It's sometimes 6PM by the time they get home. I'm writing up a contract for all the other clients I have and get in the future. I'll give her a copy and say that everything stays the same for her except I would like her to pay 1/2 day's rate if they get home after 1PM. We'll see how she accepts it.
