TGIF It's Friday and the sun is trying to shine
Hi Cindi and my OFF family:
Getting on here late. I have a friend here from Chicago, so we were out playing for awhile. We went to this town near here, Newburgh, looking for the farmers market ... well, it was on Saturday. So we walked around the town, which was cute with antique shops and cafes. We had lunch at a Middle Eastern cafe ... nice lunch plates plus we shared a pot of tea (lemon mint ... very good). The lunch was good and had plenty to eat. I had a gyros with a side salad ...mine salad had apples, pecans, sunflower seeds, and raisins with a honey mustard dressing. Linda had a curry chicken salad with a Greek salad. We were both happy with lunch and the tea was especially yummy.
But after the walking (and a lot of it was uphill or downhill) ... my left knee was aching. So she went out to see the local museum and I came home to do laundry and ice my knee. I feel bad I couldn't go with, but there was no way I could do any more. I really am hurting a lot more today.
Plus, I have had some financial stress ... I had two calls about repossessing my car. I thought I had it settled on Tuesday, then I got another call yesterday. Seems the first call was $30 off. So ... I had to come up with another $30 ... which I did today. I'm not liking all this stress. I thought I figured out one problem, and another one crops up. Not good.
Carolyn, I'm glad your daughter and soon to be ex are figuring things out at last. It's stupid to drag this out. I'm sure you're happy to get this off your plate, too. Hasn't been easy for you to deal with.

I have a Ministry of Transport Handicapped parking permit and could not live without my car and my "crippo parking"..My car is 21 years old now. ('92) and think I am going to have to start a "new car" fund as hope to outlive this one...
