Early morning TGIF

Good morning my OFF sistas! I wanted to post yesterday but never could find a minute. Just wanted to let you all know about my doctors visit. I got an Rx for prozac and a shot in my lower back. We will see how it goes, huh? I am staying here thru next Monday. Chris isn't too happy about it but tough. Butch, Carrie, and mom all tell me to stay away. Besides I hope the prozac will start to kick in a little by next week. Doc said 4 weeks for the full effect. Need to go fix breakfast for Benny. Reading all the posts each day on my phone. Love you all!

Vickie, it does take a while for the drugs to work. But when they do, you will notice a difference. You might just feel kinda mellow, like you don't care (or at least that's how I felt). I don't know about prozac, but when I started on Lexapro, It was about a week and I quit having meltdowns at work and just felt like I didn't care at all ... well, I did, but I could focus on things and not get so upset about everything.

Hello Eileen and all my friends,
    Poor Juliette. Sounds horrid.

    I didn't sleep well either. Kept waking up and tossing and turning. Got up at 4:30. Yuck. Sitting here staring into space. Will probably go back to bed.

    Nothing planned for this weekend except cleaning. Next week will be very busy.

Eileen I really feel for you with the flea situation. My two kitties, Poki and Niki had their flea stories, too. I remember trying the two most popular flea treatments....Frontline and Advantix. Can't remember which one, but one of them WORKED!! I used to comb the little bouncers out, too......and would find them hopping on me...hated it!! Once they were both treated and repeat treated for several months, I have not seen a flea now for years.....THANKFULLY! Can't believe vet couldn't find any fleas!! Like taking your noisy car to the shop, and it sounds smooth and quiet!!!

Life here has been quiet and peaceful mostly. Yesterday was palm tree cutting day and it was fun to watch the big Samoan guys shimmy up the trees and chop away, with all the mess falling on the lawn and into the pool. The team had all 20 or so trees trimmed and cleaned up by noon. Lots of people down with cameras taking shots of these amazing men and their athletic adventures.

Connie...I can sure hear the sadness when you speak about your friend, Pam. Friendships can sure have their ups and downs. I'm going through something with one of my friends here.....we are sort of not speaking right now. Hate these situations, but sometimes we have to take care of ourselves by disengaging with people who bring us down. Hope you situation turns around and mine too.

Today I'm sorting all my drawers of shorts, tank tops, long pants and long dresses. I will take huge load to Savers, our local thrift store.

Hi OFF family!!!

Well its the weekend and I left work early today and just goofed around!! Took those expensive bulbs to the post office to send back and OMG they wanted me to pay $67.00 for it!!!!!! Oh HELL NO!!!!!!!!! I am going to try Fed Ex tomorrow and see what their prices are...if I get the huge amount again I am calling this jerk back and tell him I am NOT sending them back I do NOT have that kind of money!!!!!!!!!!! Its that expensive because of the size box they are in. No way can I put them in a different size box. 4foot tubes...not gonna happen any smaller. Story of my life!!! Always getting screwed and never getting a kiss first!!!

Here is a good laugh!!! Just found out that they called Randy's name for one of the $500.00 pots last night at the VFW!!! He was NOT signed up for the drawing!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! Wish we would have heard his name being read last night when we were there...would have made our night more enjoyable!!! LOL Speaking of the jerk...he sure stayed away from me today!!! LOL He KNOWS he is getting closer to being let go and I am so ready to do it!!! One wrong word and he is gone!!!! And he stayed away from me....dam!!!!

Had a sundae today...omg never should have had one or should I say never should have eaten it so fast!! Got his sugar rush and omg thought I was going to be sick!! Will I ever learn?? Guess not....

Well time to go sit outside and relax some enjoy the nice day out there....
