Labor Day What's Up?
Good Morning Family,
Well, I had a lovely time at my nephew's bowling birthday party. Got to see my niece, who lives in Alexandria, Virginia, as well as a family from church. I was a fun bowling party, even if I couldn't bowl.
I didn't sleep well last night. My back and sinuses were bothering me. Today is a lazy day. Not much to do. Weather is overcast anyway.

Good Morning Trish and OFF-
Trying to type this with a cat in my arms is difficult. Well he was offended and has skulked off to sleep somewhere else. Happy Labor Day Everyone!
Today will be spent doing chores getting ready for guests at the end of the week. I have not touched the guest cabin all summer so it's going to take a couple of days.
I've put myself back on liquids for a few days to drop the weight that I gained at the wedding. I was continuously grazing through sweets to get through the event. Not going there, it's over and I'll move on.
Today I have been invited to a neighbors cookout. So it won't be a totally liquid day but most of it will be.
Oh here comes the skulker, he's decided he wants to lie in my arms and on my chest. Nope he's going to another nook at my feet instead. I have to seriously consider whether I should get a second cat for him. He's been attacking my feet when I walk. I think he just wants to play. But it is so much easier to travel with just one cat rather than two. Imagine having to dig two cats out from under beds in hotel rooms.

Trish, glad you had a good time yesterday. Cindi, glad to see your post. When are you coming back to Texas this year?
Okay, I'm going to have a mini-rant. Feel free to tune out. Christie did it to me again last night. She stayed gone all night. WHY does she feel it is okay for her to do that? She sent me a text at 5 a.m. informing me that since it was so late,and since she had to be to work at 9 a.m., she wasn't coming home at all. The kicker is that I was wide awake when her text came because I had been up with Benny since 4 a.m.
I guess the prozac must be helping because I didn't just blow through the roof. I'm mad and upset with her, all right, but not angry enough to chew nails.
Long story short, I talked to her about an hour ago and I told her exactly what I thought of her behavior, and I informed her that she'd better think long and hard about changing her ways or she was going to be very sorry with the consequences. She admitted she had "eff'd" up and said we needed to sit down and go over some ground rules. I told her that was fine with me, but that we would have to wait for Butch to get here first. There's no way I'm having this conversation with her one on one.
So, hopefully the door is open now for Butch and I to insist that if she wants our continued help and support, she has to get some counseling and--please God--get on some medication.
In the meantime, I have to get through the next 48 hours with her. Prayers would be much appreciated. I don't need to lose my cool at this point.
My boy is up and talking in his crib. I need to go get him. He had a rough night. I think today is going to be a pajama day for Mimi.

Vickie....sorry about your daughter's behavior last night. She needs to remember who Benny's mom is!! I went through that in Iowa remember? Glad you are waiting for Butch to get there before the "TALK". Hope you get some rest today. Sorry you were up with Benny. I hope he is doing better today. HUGS!!
I am going to have a quieter day today. I went out with friends in the afternoon yesterday and didn't get home until 11:00PM last night. More and more people kept showing up and wanting me to stay. It was fun but I am tired today.
I have a good friend that is an honest to goodness "BBQ Pit Man". He makes the best BBQ anything around!!! He wants me to meet him later this afternoon because he has BBQ ribs for me....YUMMY!!!!!
Other then that no plans for me today. I will read and hang out on the deck today. Sounds good to me!

Happy Labor Day,
I am antsy to go home, I have to wait till I see the doc on Wednesday. not sure when he will let me drive 2300 miles. Im not eating much at all abut 300 calories a day. Not good I have lost about 20 pounds in three weeks. So I think he is going to adress that one big time!!!!!
I did drive 140 miles to my cousins house in the mountains yesterday. It went pretty well. I took my time. Ill go back down to Denver tomorrow as I have to make Carls car payment so I dont have late charges.
I was thinking of Vickie this morning. There were about 6 deer in the yard and I got some great pictures from the window. See my facebook page I posted 2 pictures.

Kinda moving slowly today. Have to work in about an hour or so but just can't get going. Just finished lunch, so I have about a half hour to digest and veg before I have to get moving.
Hopefully, a low-key night ... it's my Friday and I just want to sleep ... didn't want to get out of bed at all. Tomorrow, I have to move a little bit earlier because I have my knee class and pre-op meeting for my knee surgery.
Cindi, I've thought about a second cat, but just can't afford one, and Juliette doesn't like to share her toys.
Vickie, sorry you are having problems again with your daughter. At least she realizes there are problems ... that's a start. And the prozac is definitely working if you are calm about it.
Well, not much else happening here. It's muggy and cloudy ... we have been getting rain the past few days. Even with the rain, it hasn't cooled off that much.
