Its Monday In Florida, but Im still in colorado and in the hospital still
Im still in the hospital, Im bored!!!! On Ivs, still have the low blood pressure, was put on steriods, I hope I dont gain weight!!!! Im pissed!!!!! My endocrine sysem took a nose dive south!!!!! Waiting for the cortisol level to come back. I hope it is normal so I wont have to take the steriods. But get this my neck doesnt hurt!!!!!
I want to go home to Florida!!!!! Im going to buy my cousin a ticket to come and help me drive back soon. I called her today and told her to plan on ask her mother in law to watch the kids. cause she is comming.....
Im not sure what day yet. I saw a cheap fare for the 25th.
Prayers for Aime Brayton as she goes for her round of chemo. She used to post on here.
Talk on. Ill Check back. I need to ask for pain medicine for this headache.

Carla, I'm so sorry you're stuck in the hospital like this. That really sucks.
I hope everyone else in our precious family is doing okay.
I'm waiting to take the train to New York to help my DIL. I will not be lifting anything, just car watching and moving, if necessary. I'm hoping to ride with my AA sponsor this morning. She works in Manhattan and takes the train.
Must get going. Prayers and blessings for our precious sisters battling illnesses, especially Carla, and her friend.

Carla, so sorry you are still in the hospital. Are your complications related to your WLS at all? Or just something that happened? I sure hope and pray you are able to go back home soon. I can't imagine being in the hospital so far from home. You must feel so very frustrated.

Well, I am feeling perfectly fine. I know you all are probably going to fuss at me, but I've decided not to go to the doctor right now. If my symptoms return, I'll go, I promise. But at this point, it feels rather futile to make an appointment and go in and describe something that happened several days ago, especially since I am having no symptoms at all right now. It may have just been a one-time thing. Who knows?
So, Butch and I started "The Talk" with Chris this morning. We didn't get very far before she rolled her eyes and walked away from her dad. He let her go, and he was probably right to do so. To push the matter only makes her explode. I'll let him set the pace. As long as I can stay out of it, more or less, and let him handle her, that's fine with me.
I am back down to 178 again the past couple of mornings. I had gotten up to 183 earlier this summer. The lowest I've ever been (on this scale here at the lakehouse) is 176, so I'm feeling okay with my weight again. I sure would like to start losing again though. I need to start walking again. Since the fall weather will arrive soon, maybe I can do that.
Today Butch is working on putting our guest bedroom back together and building a new closet in there. We took in the old closet to expand the guest bath last year. I'm doing some much needed laundry--our sheets and towels today. I have to pick Benny up from pre-school at 2 p.m. today.

Vickie....I am soooooo glad Butch is there. That in itself is making you feel so much better. Your stress level must have dropped already. I won't scold you about not going to the doctor. I am just glad you will go if it happens again. It is nice that Benny is in pre-school and you and Butch can have sometime for yourselves. As for Chris....praying she listens and gets it together soon!!! Congrats on the weight loss....WTG!!!

Oh Connie, you have no idea how much better it is with Butch home! Truly. I feel 100% better with him here. Not only is he a wonderful husband, and a terrific Papaw, he serves as a buffer between Chris and me. Makes all the difference in the world!

Carla....sorry you are having so many health issues. Being in the hospital that long must be awful. I pray all gets worked out soon and that you are on your way back to Florida. Yes, I remember Aime....I will be keeping her in my prayers as well. Greet her for me if you talk with her again!!

I was so happy the Vikings won yesterday. It wasn't looking hopeful at the end. They got it together and pulled it off. I was ecstatic!!!! It was a fun filled day with lots of friends!!
Today I am laying low. Not much planned and that is fine with me. Tanning and reading and watching movies...ahhhhhh!!!
