Tuesday Good Morning In Michigan
Good Morning Off Friends!
These Cooling off nights make me think autumn is coming to Michigan! Its downright chilly some mornings here! This be camping weather! Cool nights and mornings fast warming days sweatshirt evening mom used to call them. Our camping for the year is done though We will use use the rv for the holidays to spend more time up with the families but not to camp any more this year just simply have different use for the money.
I have a friend using it for a few days now, just needed a place to sleep till her check gets here no gas for her car. I get company and someone to wash my dishes!
My job search goes on somewhere out there there is a job I can do for a few years I know it. I Will find it.
Prayers going up. for all friends on here enjoy these lovely days every one!

Jo....there is a job with your name on it....keep looking ....they are waiting for you!! That is wonderful that you are helping out a friend by letting her use your RV. She must me so happy to have you as a friend!!
Nothing planned for me today. I am trying to save my money for later in the month when I go to my daughter's wedding. Remember I will be in Iowa for about 9-10 days taking care of Gracie. Just paying for the extra gas etc. will be about all I have. Not much wiggle room for me these days, money is very tight. I hate living like this!!

Judy....believe me I have tried everything....I get a whopping $16 a month in food stamps! I only live on Disability. I have a very high spenddown on medical insurance, spenddown on medications, car insurance, gasoline and car upkeep, personal needs, food ( better quality protein and lots of fresh fruits and vegetables....I can't eat bread, pasta, rice....things that could stretch the food out), all my suppliments (vitamins, calcium, protein etc.) , I pay RENT to my sister and also pay storage for all my furniture and misc belongings, internet cost is my thing I do for me. My daughter pays for my phone...thank God.
My life has changed so much. The move to Iowa....I would do it again in a heartbeat...but it really made a difference in the help I can now receive. I lost A LOT!!!
Remember I was working before I moved....I can't anymore. My pain is just too bad. I have days I can't hardly function. Many more bad days then good.

Sorry things have gotten so bad for you, Connie. I know moving has drained my finances. Even though I'm working full time, I'm making considerably less than I was making in Grand Rapids in 2010 (about 16,500 less a year ... quite a drop). Not complaining, just saying. At least it's a job. My brother is still unemployed.
Your pain level is very bad ... too bad you couldn't do something part-time at home. Don't know what, but if there was something, it would give you some income. Are you on Medicare yet?

I have been looking at something to do from home....like my last job....there just isn't anything. I keep trying!
My last job was cut when the economy went down the tubes. That program isn't here anymore. Plus, I already reached the maximum number of years I could be in that program.
I can only work about 10 hours a week even if I can find something. Otherwise my insurance spend-down goes up again.
Keep praying for me!! I am still praying for your brother!!!

Well that just plain sucks Connie!!! Do they have any rental assistance out there for people like you? Sure wish there was something for you I could help with!!! Do you go to food banks? Churches? They seem to have a good bunch of fresh foods available and I am sure you would qualify for that. Not sure if there is still Angel Food Ministries out across the USA anymore... have you ever checked into that? I know the people here all go to the churches and food banks to stretch their food money and stamps. Do you have a Dollar General near you? They have vitamins there that cost WAY less and are just as good!! Got my thinking cap on now trying to think to help you out here...lol head hurts trying hard to think....dam CRS ya know!!! ;-)

I had a lovely day helping my daughter-in-law in Manhattan yesterday. She and my son, Chris, have a lovely apartment near the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is much bigger than the closet they are in right now in Queens. Plus, the commute is easier for my son. When my daughter-in-law gets work it will be an easer commute for her as well. Currently, she is unemployed.
I was supposed to go to a training this morning, but developed a bad earache yesterday. So, instead of attending that, I am heading to the doctor's to have him look at it. I just saw him Friday about my back.

I have had a sore throat and an earache for 2 days....mine is all allergies. Taking my meds like a good girl....feeling a bit better today. Another day of rest for me!

Yes autumn is on it's way. We have 30 acres of hay on the ground and
I get to start bailing today. I will be driving the tractor even though I'm still hurting some from the surgery. But, you got to make hay shile the sun is shinning and it is only going to be shinning until Thursday.
I put in a bunch of plants and trees the last three days so I need to get
them watered before the DH is ready for me. Takes a lot longer when
you can only carry 1gal at a time.
Jobs are slim pickings here. The SIL lost the job he had since 16
(worked up to manager) when they where bought out. He can only
find part time work and not making much at that.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
