Good Thursday Morning

Good Morning OFF Family,
I have a busy morning on tap today.  I am heading to physical therapy for help with my back since the accident.  It aggravated my already hurting shoulder, and started hurting the other side.  Then, I have to get some bills in the mail, and some groceries.  I have volunteer work this afternoon, first at the agency.  Then, at the campaign office.  I also have to stop and get my glasses repaired.  One nose pad broke off and disappeared.

I hope you all have a great morning.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning dear Trish. . .  those to come

Sounds like you got a full day planned, hope the therapy helps your back and everything else works out well.

Work is where I'm at, nothing too exciting happening, had a good night's sleep and can't wait for the results of my bloodwork, because even with 8 hours of sleep, something I seldom have (more like 6.5 to 7), I'm tired.  Today has me meeting up with my good friend, Owen, going to an early AA meeting this evening, we're going to try some new meetings, as my regular homegroup meets at 8 pm and ends at 9:15, which doesn't get me home until close to 10 and I'm usually settled in bed by then, so it's just too much, need a change and there are some other options, so we shall check them out and see what works best.  That's really all I have planned right now and so I'll get back to the job...

Have a great day, prayers and good wishes to all facing serious challenges.

Hugs, Laureen

Good morning Trish, Laureen, and everyone.....

Trish....sounds like you are going to have a busy day. I pray the PT works well for you!

Laureen.... I am still praying the blood work comes back with good results. Do you think you have Fibromyalgia? You definitely have some of the symptoms!!

I am going tanning in a bit. I was supposed to take Pam's mom to a doctor appointment but they changed the date. That is good because I still have a sore throat and really didn't want to be around her.

I have been invited to a "Turkey Roast " this weekend. It is quite a long drive so I am not sure I am going. I will see how I feel by Saturday. Would be fun as so many of my friends will be there.

My daughter, Jamie, called. They are having the wedding party including the moms getting their hair and makeup done. It is at a salon. All paid for by someone as a gift. WOW!!  That will be nice!!

Wishing you all a beautiful day!

Prayers for so many in need.

Love and hugs  to all......connie d

Thanks PV ....it sure is a great gift!! I am looking forward to being pampered!!  I can't even remember when I had that done last. My daughters cut and highlight my hair. I do my own nails....can't afford to have them done anywhere. I want to get my brows done before the wedding....that cost will be enough...I usually just do my own but I am going to try it this one time.

Connie,

Thanks for your concern and you are not the first friend to mention Fibromyalia. . .  can it just come out of no where?  Don't know enough about it, but I will look into it and based on the people I know who do suffer from it, I pray I don't have it, it seems to be very debilitating and goes hand in hand with depression for those I know who have it and I know you struggle with it as well and I feel it would be the ultimate slap in the face to me, after having gone through all I have to get healthy and lead an active lifestyle, the pain I am in is very bothersome, but I really fight at staying active in spite of it,, but there are days that I just have to surrender to the pain and rest.

Thanks again for your kind thoughts and trying to help me figure out the possibilities of what it could be.  Keep those prayers coming.

Hugs, Laureen

Laureen...I pray you don't have Fibro either. Mine has been so awful this whole last year. Like you said it can be very debilitating. Keeping active is one of the main things you need to do for Fibro. It actually helps with the pain. Although there are days just getting out of bed to get something to drink is all I can do. Having arthritis as bad as I do doesn't help things either! Oh well....onward I go!!

Please do research it....if that is what you have. You need to know all about it. I even took a class at the hospital and I belonged to a support group at one time too.

Good morning (barely!) Trish and Laureen, and all my OFF sistas!

Laureen, I hope the results of your blood work give you some definitive answers as to what is going on.  Trish, I hope the PT helps you today!

I am feeling pretty good today.  Benny woke up GRUMPY!  Wow.  Took an hour of cuddles and hugs, Sesame Street, and blueberry pancakes to get that boy happy finally.  We've been outside playing in the backyard.  Played in the sandbox, went for a walk/trike ride, fed the deer, etc.  It got too hot, though, so we're back in the house now for the afternoon.

I'm so mellow it's just ridiculous.  I just sorta feel out of my body.  I don't know, maybe I'm on too high a dose of prozac?  Maybe I'll cut back to half a pill a day.  There are things I need to be doing, but I just can't seem to be bothered with doing them.

Can you say "la-la land"?  LOL!

I made that vegetable kale soup again yesterday.  I had it for lunch and for supper.  It's super delicious and kale is one of those "super" foods.  I'm still trying to do a mostly vegetarian diet, although it's hard convincing Butch that he doesn't need meat three times a day.

Debbie, I'm wondering how your meringue turned out?

Not much going on here today.  Just happy to be with my guys.

Love you all!
