Happy Black Friday! No Shopping here

Hello everyone!

I think we are in a post-turkey stupor around here.  Sure not out fighting the crowds.  One of the benefits of getting older is getting wiser, too!  I order my presents on-line whenever possible. 

I did get some help from Carrie earlier today and got all my boxes moved in from the back porch.  Don't ask me how I got them all in here!  We are packed to the gills.  I broke down the boxes I've already emptied and put them out in the storage building.  I'm certain we'll need them again.  When Butch comes home again, we will rent a storage building close by and move some of these boxes and excess furniture out of here so we can breathe again.  As it is, we just have little pig trails leading through all the rooms!  LOL!  It's a good thing I'm on Prozac.  Clutter makes me crazy.

Also, Carrie helped me get the Xmas decorations down out of the attic.  We are planning to decorate the tree with Christie and Benny tonight.  That will be fun.  I'm excited to watch Benny this Christmas.  I got him The Elf on the Shelf.  Can't wait to start that with him soon.

I'm making a turkey noodle casserole for our dinner tonight.  That will be easy and I hope Benny will eat some of it.  He wasn't too impressed with our turkey dinner yesterday.

Eileen, best of luck with your move.  I hope the new place is just what you want.  Trish, I'm still praying for you and your upcoming move (maybe) to be closer to the Munchkins.  Carla, I hope you can find something reasonable in the new area.  Sounds like you need to get away from your bi-polar relative.  I can relate to that!  Connie, I hope you start feeling better soon.  Judy, please enjoy your weekend off.  Jo, I hope you are doing well.  Geez, I can't remember who all else I wanted to say something to.  As Connie always says, CRS disease!  LOL!

Vickie we are enjoying the time off and so far so good!!!! Had an argument with Rick's daughter tonight on FB about her wanting an expensive jacket...cost is $100.00 she wants it for her Birthday right before Christmas...no not for BOTH just Birthday! She then said her mom would go half...still kind of expensive for just a birthday gift...things went from bad to worse then she said she blocked her dad on her phone and then she took me off FB friends list!!!!  But before she did that she claims her dad never wanted her blah blah blah...said enough to make him feel like crap!! She forgets that we had her Christmas gifts for what 4-5 months AFTER Christmas one year waiting for her to come and get them!!!! It was SHE wanted to come to OUR pace for her gifts!!! OK...so we WAITED....well as of now there will be NO gifts going to her for her birthday OR for Christmas!!! See how she likes that now!! How dare she do this to her dad!!! She said he is always talking about her mom being mean about her...well he has a right if you ask me! SHe went after him for years for child support yet the dead beat she has a kid with now has NEVER paid ANY support and NEVER went after him for any and she also used Rick's name on things and ruined his credit also from NOT paying those bills!!!!!!!! Now tell me...does he have the right to bash her???? I think he does!!!

Sorry for sounding off here...just had to get it off my chest to someone I guess....

Glad that you are getting somewhere in your move and will have a nice Christmas!!!
