Happy New Year to all.  Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and blessed 2013!!

We are recovering from my granddaughter's wedding yesterday.  It was beautiful in spite of the drizzle all day long.

Hugs and prayers to all, Sandra

We watched the Ball fall and where sleeping by 12:10.  I had taken nyquil for this stuff I came down with.  I spent today trying to get the junk cleaned out of my bedroom that I pilled into it over the last year.  I never got rid of the big cloths when I got my band.  I have all I can find packed up and the DD checked it over and said to ship it out.  She bought most of it.  I sure wish I knew someone that needed it rather than just dump it at SA.  In the process of sorting and cleaning I lost all my paper work for surgery and two checks.  I had shredded tons of papers and was sure I shredded them by mistake.  Finally found them, I had thrown the whole file in the trash.  That is what I get for multi-tasking.  I meant to put the file in my bag, throw some papers out and shred the rest.  The main thing is I found them.

My pre-op appointment is early tomorrow so need to sleep but am to wound up!

Piney,
I assume you meant Salvation Army when you put SA for your clothes destination. I can assure you that someone who needs them will get them for a bargain. My Mom and I shop there all the time, and she bought most of my big clothes there before I had my surgery. Plus, the money they make on the sales goes toward funding their substance abuse facilities. They offer free or low cost rehab treatment to people.

Hugs,
Trish

Your right on all accounts.  But, I also know people that shop there for "costumes."  I have also heard request in the past for donated gently uses plus cloths for plus sized ladies to wear to job interviews.  Now I can't find them or the women shelter I used to donate too.  I know they make it hard to keep away abusive partners, but I can't remember how I found them before.

I know Salvation Army is a great deal.  I donate stuff to them.
