Good morning Vickie and everyone....

Vickie.....glad you are getting your blinds up. As for the painting...good idea to hire someone...that would be a good investment for you with your bad shoulder. It rained a little....then snowed....now it is raining again. What a slushy mess! Have you named your little Roomba yet....most people I know have silly names for theirs. Hope Chris is feeling better today!

Judy....have fun on your little adventure today. I am glad you both stuck up to Rick's mom. She is so annoying!

Eileen....sorry you are feeling depressed. Hope things work out for you soon.

I can't remember who else I was going to reply to...CRS!!!!

As for me not much happening. I still have a bit of a cold, sore throat and cough. I can't believe how I catch things so quickly!! Gosh I hardly ever leave home except to get RXs and a few groceries. I never see my friends. I catch so much crap that is going around. Guess my immune system isn't up to where it needs to be. I had plans to go to lunch with Tony. I decided to cancel. I am not taking any chances on a relapse.

Wishing you all a beautiful day. Prayers for those in need....some special ones as well.

Love and many hugs to all...connie d

Greetings Vickie and Everyone,

I'm late again.  Busy morning and afternoon.  Chris was here overnight, and he was working on a movie he made of his and Casey's trip to Los Angeles for her Academy Awards performance.  Then we went to Colleen's to show them the movie.  After that, we all piled into Colleen's van to go target shooting.  I had never shot a real gun before in my life before today.  Trent set up small pieces of 2x4 wood in the snow.  I managed to knock over 5 out of 5 tries.  I was totally shocked.  After that, we went to the sports bar for lunch.  After lunch, Chris left for the airport to fly back to New York.

The rest of today, I'll be crashing in my rocking chair.

Hugs,

Trish

Hello Trish.....sounds like you had a great time with your family!!

I love shooting at targets!!! I used to do it a lot. We also did trap shooting (clay pigeons) and black powder shooting (old guns to pack with powder etc.). We made a lot of our own shotgun shells and bullets too. Sounds like you did great on your first time out!!

Enjoy that rocking chair!!

Love and hugs....connied
