Tuesday and Good Morning
on 3/11/13 8:36 pm
Never started a thread but thought I would give it a try today. Being on the East Coast (South really) I may be the first up. I got up to go to Power class at gym, but did not make it there.
I have already messed up this morning and ate a bad carb. Maybe the rest of the day will go better. Hope everybody's day goes good. It rained all night, I think. I will meet my friends in a bit for our walk. We use umbellas if necessary. I wish I could get the spell check to work better. It tells me a word is spelled wrong, but does not give me any help with the correct spelling. Oh well!!

hi/lo/have not weighed yet. ugh
Good Morning girls! I'm an East Coaster as well. Working a half day at a local elementary school today and must be there by 7:30 so........ I'm up. This time change really wears me out though. I can't get to bed at a decent time then I can't get up early.
Tomorrow we have our first appointment with the surgeon. Anxious to see what he has to say. Letter from PCP is in the works and we have talked extensively to the insurance so I think we are on or way!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Ruby and OFF-
Ruby leave the bad carb incident behind and keep going forward. Know how it feels as I succumbed to girl scout cookies this past weekend.
Got my bloodwork back. Good news is that everything is normal, bad news is that normal means a hysterectomy. I'm kinda numb about it at this point. The blood work revealed that I am in menopause, therefore I shouldn't have had a bleed. So despite plans to leave the refuge on April 6 it looks like I'll be here through the end of the month at a minimum. Don't know any schedules yet as the doctor is getting my records from Maine to study and determine best approach. Thank god I've lost the weight that I have and that I'm so much more physically fit to deal with this surgery. I am hoping against hope that she will be able to do this procedure laproscopically.
The book project is going well. It's keeping me sane. We've received at least 500 pictures and have 13 photographers signed up for the project. The photos I'm sorting are beautiful and I'm excited that this will be a one of a kind book when finished.
Positive thoughts to all of you. Vickie - I know Butch will come out of this knee replacement surgery feeling great. Connie- Hope you're still recovering from the pneumonia. Trish - hope you got the sinus infection under control.
Off to get a perm for me and flea treatment for my cat. It's a pretty sunny day and I'm going to enjoy it.
