Update

Hi Folks: I've not been able to get on this board in quite a while and I hope things are going well for you. I just thought I would drop by and put in a quick post, as I always wondered where folks went and why--when they disappeared from here. Anyway, life has been a bit problematic for us. Jerry is doing well with his gastric bi pass surgery, but he had a cardiac cath on Wed. and had to have emergency heart bi pass surgery on Friday. It's a good thing they didn't do the cardiac cath before his wls or he never would have gotten it. And it's a good thing that during wls he had a small heart attack or he never would have gotten the cath. His heart is not damaged by the small heart attack so that is good news. Hopefully in a few weeks or months he'll be like a new guy. I am fine --now that he is on the road to recovery. Hugs to all of you. Love, Louise

you are both in my prayers-my own dh had quad bypass 2 years ago-give him time-rest and walking will do him a world of good! gee-sounds just like wls!!!! seriously; you have been missed-thanx for the update!

Hello Louise, Life has a way of coming full circle, righting all things, fences get mended, fenders get unbent, cavities get filled, bones get cast, and good friends reunite.....and hearts heal. It's good to hear Jerry's is. And, your picture is beautiful. It's been a while since I've seen you. It's good to know you are well. Jeannie

Louise, I can understand why life has been so hectic for you recently. You've had a lot going on! I'm so glad that Jerry is doing well, but really sorry he's had this heart problem to deal with. However, and I know you probably share this feeling, WLS is something to be really thankful for in Jerry's case. Were it not for the pre-op testing and his heart attach during surgery, this could have been much worse and the outcome not nearly as optimistic. I hope Jerry continues to do well and recovers from the heart bypass with no problems. Thanks for the update. Don't forget to take care of yourself, too. WP

Thanks for checking in. I have wondered how things have been going for Jerry and yourself. I hope and pray that his health gets better quickly. Sometimes we have blessings in disguise.
