I realized later it was black bears they were talking about so not as dangerous but there are grizzlies in Yellowstone and they are aggressive.  Good luck on your walk and AA meeting.

Ladies,

I have been busy trying to get this little apartment cleaned up so that when the cat sitters come feed the *****es, they won't have to trip over books.

Today's breakfast was a little omelet; Lunch was a tomato sandwich; dinner will be potato soup.  I've eaten watermelon all day long.  I've got to stop. I know it's not killing me in calories but it makes me pee all day long.  Geeze!

Okay, gotta go...dryers is done.

Ladies, have a good day.

Hi All,

Sent my husband off this morning for his annual camping trip with his brothers. I noticed just now that he left his pillows. I guess he will be roughing it.LOL. If he gets my text soon enough maybe he can go buy a pillow.

I was thinking of going to a movie but nothing appeals. I'll check the art theatre next. I have more laundry to do (never ending I swear) and cleaning (ditto)...

breakfast- a small piece of omelet and a few country potatoes

lunch- cheese and a couple of crackers

dinner- chicken tender with mashed potatoes

snack- watermelon and cherries

Running in to weigh...maintaining right now. I can be happy with that.

Off to the races...enjoy your day friends.

Julia

Good Morning Linda and OFF,

I've had a bear sighting before.  I was walking with my then husband in the country in Western PA.  We'd been warned about bears.  As we were walking on a back road, a baby bear crossed it about 20 yards ahead of us.  We froze.  Then Mama Bear crossed over following it.  We turned right around and went back to the house.  It was interesting.  That was the closest I'd been to a bear without a cage around it.

Not sure what I'm doing about food yet.  I need to get a walk and AA meeting in.

Must scoot.

Hugs,

Trish

Good Morning ladies

This morning is cool and I love it.  I was up at 6:30 so I have had my breakfast, showered, got dressed, and made the bed so I am ready to explore.  I think I will take a drive to the Paul Stock nature trail.  It is sorta in town. There is a 1.5 mile trail along the Shoshone River that looks like it is very pretty and an easy walk to start with.  I hope to get my 10,000 steps today.  If the weather holds we may take a scenic drive this afternoon.

Breakfast  bagel ( I know not the best choice) sigh

lunch  left over sushi

dinner - don't know yet

Movement - walk along the river and maybe stroll around downtown. goal 10,000 steps

Chime in and tell me what you are doing.

just checking in towards the end of my evening. My food today was as planned except dinner. Instead of uDon at home we walked to a sushi restaurant. I shared edemame and ordered a shrimp roll.  Will be taking half of it home. Walking back may work up enough appetite to fini**** later.

Pleased to say the trip did not mess me up. Lost 1 pound on the road.

oh Trish I know it is such a struggle. Tha sugar demon is so pervasive. Once I get him under control I MUST not indulge or I start to cycle all over again. Right now I am in control....Tomorrow who knows.

Exercise is so important, just a casual stroll can be both beneficial and pleasant. Also impossible in record heat and humidity. Jeannie reminded me that I could walk in the mall or walmart or anywhere.  Alas I hate indoor walking.

I am here now and will be until September 15.

I've been to Mt rushmore but this year we came from Dallas up and across kansas on to Colorado and up 25 to cheynne then a little West thru laramie and finally to cody. Got here last night. Went through wind river reservation and through a beautiful canyon.  It is hotter than I'd like but very dry and quite bearable.

Hope to see you later
