Hey Trish,
I think that those of us who are addicts, and we probably are all, will always struggle. My husband says I have the strangest relationship with food. The best we can do is one day at a time. If I make it today without grabbing chips, I cannot be guaranteed that the chip craving won't take over tomorrow.
I am so glad your kids did so well with their recital.
Ladies, practice today saying no...no, I won't do that for you; no, I don't have time to do that; no, I don't want that snack food....And, please stretch your muscles....give them a good stretching.
Good Morning OFF,
Sorry I've been gone, but my cleaning project is done. Hallelujah!!! I am beyond relieved. Colleen said everything looked good.
Tuesday was beyond insane, taking Frank to a museum, then dropping stuff off at Goodwill, seeing my orthopedist, and getting my haircut, plus going to specialty pharmacy for a compound topical pain med.
Last night, Izzy and Lincoln performed in their recitals, Izzy on piano and Lincoln on guitar. He's only been taking guitar since January, and he wowed the crowd.
Food has been so-so. Still hooked on the sugar.
Exercise has been okay.
Hugs,
Trish

Susan,
If we weren't taking my granddaughter to the Laura Ingals Wilder museum, we could all meet for a some lunch or a walk on the mountain....How the hell are you?
Linda! You're in HS??? Wish I would have seen this sooner. My DIL is moving into her new salon and I'm committed to help the whole weekend. How long do you plan on being here in AR?
Susan
Hello ladies
Today I signed the last of the papers needed to allow my buyer to move in to the condo as a renter. Now we just have to wait for him to get all his ducks in a row so we can close. Until then he pays rent, has had the condo inspected and accepted the report, and pays all the bills. Works for me.
Walked a little today in downtown Hot Springs. If was overcast so not as hot as yesterday but still 88 percent humidity.
I am eating too many carbs. I need to get home and back to the gym.
I'll get there before the baby comes!!! He or she is doe June 19. If he or she takes after Vin shim will be 4 days late! I'll be up there before Wednesday!!!

Yes, surgeon ok'd Pantoloc (oral Protein Pump Inhibitor) daily , with daily 50 mg Diclofenac suppository ( Voltaren) ..,but some days, too many: my Colitis and Diverticulitis/sore anus cannot take the NSAID suppository...then I am totally in bodily pain, besides for my Polymyalgia Artritica, Prednisone is go to med, multiple rounds, don't want it as guaranteed 50 lbs weight gain..and heck of a time losing it.

PS Recent medical reports show Pantoloc (Protein Pump Inhibitor) on a regular basis destroys kidneys, you will need dyalisis if taking daily longterm...No Thanks.
Jen,
Sometimes we have to take the steroids and the NSAIDs but just make sure you take some Prilosec to keep the acid in check....
Kathy,
I am going to make a video. It might take me a little bit but I will.
YOu keep up the good work...you are doing fabulously.
Carla,
Do have a safe trip. I know you cannot wait to see that grandbaby. We are running down the mountain to get my granddaughter's registration for the two week gifted and talented retreat that is being hosted at my university. I forgot to get my daughter's signature so we are running to get that...
That five pound increase in the doctor's scale is to keep us in our place. LOL...we cannot be too confident, can we?
