Hi Arlene...I think you will make it through the wedding. It sure is a rough time for you right now!!
Why your daughter is acting up like this is a mystery. I think she has put way too much on herself. She needs to calm down before she has a health issue and then the wedding will be on hold. She needs to delegate to her wedding party!!
She is expecting way to much from you. She should be addressing all this with her future husband.

Hi Vickie....I agree with Arlene....you are not Superwoman!! Once Carrie is there she will be taking over and that will allow you to get out and in your garden, take hot bubble bathes, and sleep around the clock if you want to!!! I hope you do just that. You need this time to recover.
Sorry poor little Caralee had a hard time sleeping last night. I pray tonight goes better for everyone.

I am so sorry to read that your SIL is doing so poorly. It is very sad news. I feel very sad for your brother, her husband.
It is wonderful that your sisters took over the care of your brother so you could be with Kenny. That is so awesome.
I have been keeping you and your hubby in my thoughts and hope all continues to get better for him and you.
I worry about you overdoing it. You are juggling a lot of balls at once. I hope your health/pain isn't getting worse.

Oh Arlene, bridezillas are the worst. And the sad part is (to me anyway) is all the money and effort that goes into the wedding when it's really the marriage that counts! Praying for your sanity and patience during the final weeks!

Hi, dear Connie!
We've been chilling since we got home earlier. It has felt good to have nothing to do.
I haven't talked to Veronique today but I did get in touch with one of her adult children and asked him if he would get in touch with me as long as he felt that doing so wouldn't violate his mom's wish for privacy. While I talked to her yesterday on the phone, I did feel that she is just unable to talk about all of this right now. I think she needs a little bit of time to come to terms with what has happened. I will call her again towards the end of next week, after she has met with the oncologist, to offer support. Thank you for your prayers for she and her family and for me as well. You are a wonderful, loving and supportive friend.
I pray that your family gets the long-awaited results from all the testing Nic had done well over a month ago. I continue to lift you and your family up in prayer every day. It seems unlikely that the medical team would hold on to bad news as they would want to take immediate action as far as treatment is concerned (I would think).

Cindy...I can't even remember if I asked you how Veronique is doing today. I have had a really odd day. You understand!
I am glad you got your appointments done. I hope you are home relaxing for the rest of the evening.
As for me..... I feel like can can sleep around the clock!! This place is full of sick people. Everyone seems to have one flu or the other.
I spoke with my daughter, Jamie no news on Nic. She feels now they are just planning what to do next. This is all new to staff. They are studying the effects of all the chemo and such and what it has done to Nic. Nic is in a place with recovery that is unusual. He is doing well so we don't feel there is any hot cancer. I just wish they would say so!! Nic is going to contact them this week and see if he can get some answers. Jamie can't call because Nic is an adult and he must get the information first. Between his jobs and school he doesn't have a lot of free time! I am going to call him later.
There are so many people struggling with cancer. I think everyone of us is or has been affected in some way. I will continue to keep praying for all the people that have been mentioned here today.
