Carla....I haven't seen you in awhile. I guess partially because I haven't been on the computer much lately. 

So your sister is planning on staying there...Hmmmm!! I do remember somethings about her. I don't think that will be a GOOD MOVE FOR YOU!!! Why is she doing this? Why wouldn't she have that done at home? I feel bad for you. I hope you can get this worked out and she goes back home...soon!! Sometimes distance is a good thing!

As for me..... well on a good note it is my precious granddaughter, Amanda's 22nd birthday!! I spoke with her and she had some funny stores to tell me. That helped lighten my heart. 

This is always a bad day for me. My mom died 16 years ago today. After all those years I continue to miss her so much. I am always talking to her. I wish I could have one more day with her. She was so kind, and sweet and loving to everyone. I just can't help but miss her. 

Eileen is on her trip....how nice that is for her. I have been thinking of her and want to say...Happy Birthday Eileen!!!

It's after 1 p.m. and I'm just now getting on the computer.  My life has certainly changed!

Since we're talking so much about pets today, let me just say that while I miss little Maybelle, it is sheer heaven to walk around barefoot in my house and not be worried about stepping on something squishy! It's also a relief not to have to worry about keeping doors closed and trash cans up and out of reach, etc. Believe me, I will think long and hard before I get another pet again.

The scale dropped a bit today.  199.2!  I'll take it!  A half pound gone is a victory for me this week.  My eating has not been as good as I would have liked.  I did manage to stay out of the chocolate last night, although it was definitely calling to me.  If I weren't walking daily, I wouldn't be losing at all.  Today I went without Caralee and I'm glad, because I got rained on (just a little).  Also I can walk further and faster without pushing the baby stroller.  I walked a full 60 minutes today, so I figure that was a full 3 miles.  

I called and made a doctor's appointment for myself on Friday morning.  My right arm and shoulder are killing me.  It's from hauling the baby around all day long, but hey, she's only going to get heavier each week.  I figure it couldn't hurt to go get another steroid shot in my right shoulder again.

Caralee is really a good baby.  But she's not quite 2 months old.  (Wednesday is her 2 month birthday.)  Babies are just a lot of work at this stage, no matter how good they are.  And dang it, I did manage to work her schedule around yesterday and her bedtime feeding was around 9:30 p.m.  I was hoping for that 6 hour stretch! But that little stinker was still up at 2 a.m.!  LOL!  I think I'm gonna have to adjust my time clock to HER, not the other way around.  LOL!

Carla, I think you are in an untenable situation with your sister.  Doesn't she have a family of her own who can help her?  She can't stay at your place.  You travel waaaay too much and plus you have a new grandbaby on the way.  You're going to be gone a LOT.  She needs to be settled in someplace more permanent I think.

Well, I need to go make my shake and drink it before Lil Miss wakes up from her nap.  Love you all so much!

I am so sorry about Tink.  All you can do is remember that she was well-loved and cared for during her time as a member of your family.  Hugs to all of you.
