Hi Ladies,

Jeannie hopefully your husband will feel a lot better now. Sorry about your brother's wife. I'll keep everyone in my thoughts.

Kathy glad you had a better morning with Jazz. Good luck on your job search.

Mary glad to hear that you got Internet and a computer, you were missed. Sorry about the delay in the demolition of your old trailer. Good you will have better house payments then you did before. You'll be in your new home soon. Glad you got a good friend helping you out.

I'm doing OK, still trying to catch up with my reading from Sunday.  I did take a short walk to the pharmacy this morning even though it was cold out but sunny. They're talking about a snowstorm again tonight. I wi**** would just go away and warm up.

Thoughts and prayers for everyone. Everyone have a good evening.

Love and hugs,

Yvonne

Hi Ladies..............

I'm finally able to post, and should be back on a daily basis, with much thanks to Eileen, plus Shirley finally broke down and got digital internet rather than the dial-up NetZero she was using.

It will take a while for me to catch up on what's happening with everyone, but I'll spend some time reading past posts to see what's going on with everyone.

Things are moving along on my end, but, of course, not as fast as I'd like.  They were supposed to demolish the burned trailer last Monday, but discovered that morning that they have to test the site to see if there's any asbestos. So they took samples Tuesday and told me that it generally takes 7-10 business days to get the test results.  It seems I keep hearing that term:  7-10 business days.  So, hopefully I'll get the results by the end of this week and the demolition should start next week.  Things never go as expected, but I know in the end things will work out.

A few weeks ago, I was getting all types of unsolicited advice....I should definitely to for a double wide trailer; I must have two bathrooms; I should build a house instead; put a modular up; etc., etc, etc.  I'd love to have a house, and I did get estimates, but I'd be paying about $40,000 more for a house that would be smaller than the trailer I'm getting.  I've worked out the figures and my new mortgage payment will be $150 less per month, and it will include real estate taxes and home insurance in that payment.  Before the fire, my finances were such that I probably would have had to get a part-time job in September when my long-term disability from work stops.  Now, I won't have to do that.  I was in the process of streamlining my expenses and will follow thru on those plans, so things will work out well.

I'm so lucky that my friend Shirley is being so good to me, letting me and my dog, Pookie, stay with her until my new place is ready.  Not many would put themselves out like she does. I do try to keep things neat, try to be quiet after she turns in for the night, etc.  She keeps saying we're like sisters.  I am truly blessed.

I've got to go do some reading, and hopefully tomorrow I can respond to your posts.

It's good to be back.........

Good Morning Jeannie & Ladies to follow

Great news that there does not appear to be any cancer, but that is ALOT of infection! Glad they got everything out & taken care of so he can recover. Poor guy...he had to have felt miserable.

So sad about your brother & his wife. I can imagine how hard it has to be for him to let her go! I can understand the family's feelings about him not allowing her to pass at home as per her wishes, but he must be struggling horribly. Emotions ruling everything. I hope he is able to bring himself to let her go as this situation is rough for all. Prayers!

We had a better morning wJazz, but still the attitude persists. I know it is the age & stage, but I have never had patience for backtalk & yelling. Now I have even less...I am no saint. She starts yelling & I am not far behind...an Irish nightmare. We took away all her electronics back in February... even her phone, wouldn't allow her to join any new clubs, cut back on putting with friends and gave her extra chores. And yes, everything is our fault, but I almost laughed at her yesterday when she blamed me for her not getting up after reading Vickie's post.

Well enough of that.

Today is back to job applications, a couple doctor appointment, and other boring day to day tasks.

Will check in later.

Have a good day.

The gallbladder and pancreas were full of stones and infection. The doctor biopsied the liver growth and while they finished the procedure, they did a frozen section. The doctor came out and said no cancer but they are sending the tissue off for further study. He did have massive infection from having the gall stones for so long and the doctor said that the growths in his liver were probably a result of the infection.  Anyway, unless the pathology shows something that the frozen section doesn't, there is no cancer.  However, you all remember my sister in law's cancer? Yesterday, my brother had to have her airlifted to Little Rock and the doctors there found three brain tumors. She was having massive seizures and my brother just wasn't ready to give up...even though she was.  He called me last night and said she isn't suffering now and has eaten some so he thinks he did the right thing. My brother's kids are so angry at him for not letting their mother die at home as had been planned. I told him last night that the doctor and nurses in Little Rock will do the same thing for her that those here would do and that is give her pain meds, nausea meds, and let her go.  He told me sis, I've loved her since I was 15 and she was 14 and I just don't know how to live without her and I don't want her going without me. He did say that he isn't going to kill himself so not to worry.  They married when they were 16 and 15 and have not spent a day apart since they were married.  He is 65 and she is 64...They really grew up together.  Well ladies, I am running late so I'll talk to you later.

Judy...just a quick message...I am not feeling well at all.

YES I watched "THE WALKING DEAD". OMGosh...what an ending! I did not expect this at all. I have been reading everything I can about last night's show. Everyone is going crazy trying to figure out who the victim was!!!! So many people think it was Glen. I am not even going to try to guess. It will be a long, long wait!!! I don't miss that show no matter what!!!!

Sorry your tenant is so mean...I really do hope she leaves!!!

Love and many hugs.....connie d
