Good afternoon Vickie & ladies to follow!

Vickie, thank you so much for the Psalm you sent me via FB. It was so on point and I was touched you thought of me!

Your yard is going to be stunning. I love the black/white contrast and the flower colors will just make it pop. I love my backyard...spend as much time out there as possible bare as it still is. So I know you will enjoy the beauty you are creating and the tranquility of relaxing out back.

The family pictures are gorgeous...such a good looking bunch. The outfits worked well.

The weight loss is astounding! Good for you. Is this stuff new...never heard of it!

Jeannie, wanted to say you and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers. Poor guy sounds like he has been thru the ringer lately. No matter how much our men annoy us we still love them and it hurts to see them go thru hardships. And it is damn hard on the caregiver. Hope everything turns out okay..

I wanted to thank everyone who had kind words regarding me leaving my job. It really helped me feel better even though I seem to be having some anxiety still. One of the things I learned from the stress of my last job is that since I've gotten older it takes me longer to 'recover' or get my balance back. So like Arlene mentioned best to get out sooner vs. later.

We went to Walmart and Sam's this morning to stock up on groceries being that I need to find another job. We are heading to Lancaster tomorrow for some good Amish food and shopping. And I am going to try to make some peanutbutter eggs forSunday...just not sure I can trust myself to not eat them!

My daughter came over and hung my sofa wall arrangement yesterday. I am very pleased with the outcome! I still need to get a couple accent pieces but now with the new drapes and finally get this final wall done I am happy! Onto the bathroom next!

Eileen, I was thinking how far you've come this past year. I know the uncertainty of your job and your health, but overall there have been alot of positive changes...this neurotransmitter being the latest. What a gift.

I miss hearing from Cindi B, CindyP. Trish and Mary more often, but now how that goes. Just know I am thinking of you all...

Ok...off I go!

Good afternoon sistas!

OMG!  I went for my weekly injection at the WLS this morning.  I LOST SEVEN POUNDS!  In one week!  I am still stunned.  I haven't had WL like this since my surgery.  WOW.

Today is totally chaotic.  We are keeping the boys, because it is because Good Friday and a school holiday.  Poor Carrie!  She had to keep all three kiddos by herself this morning while I had appointments and errands to run.  But she seems to have managed it.

I haven't had time to take more pictures of my yard yet.  They still have to bring the black mulch and also install the sprinkler system, but I am so happy with what they got done yesterday.  My trees and roses are planted!  This afternoon I need to clean off my back patio and get it ready for company this weekend.  Lots of cleaning up, sweeping up, and putting away to do.

So before I hop off, do let me post one of our bluebonnet pictures.  We still haven't received them all (there will be about 10), but the photographer shared another one on FB this morning.  I love it!  So here's my crew.  Everyone looks good except for Caralee who was fussing!

Too much to do to linger on the computer today.  Love you all!

 Vickie

Thanks Kathy.  I saw her post on Facebook last night.

Trish,

I can only imagine how hard it must be trying to do what's best with your mother. My older brother and sister are getting to the point where their kids are not able to do anything with them and for my sister, I spend about four or five hours a week negotiating with her for her sons.

I hope your sister is able to get some rest and you too.

Ladies,

Connie spilled coffee on her keyboard and now cannot post. It is too painful to do on her phone.

She asked me to let you all know she can read posts ,but not reply. She will be back when it gets fixed.

Hi Ladies,

It's another rainy day again. At least the snow was north of us.. I didn't want to get up this morning again. It was after 11 am before I got up. I been depressed the last two days. I know I should exercise but don't feel like doing it today.

Trish glad you enjoyed your sister's visit.  Enjoy your grandson.

Jeannie I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts.

Vickie you are always busy. The landscape is looking good. Congrats on your weightloss.

Kathy I'm glad you quit your job right out. It wasn't safe for everyone if you are distracted.  Take some time for you before finding another job.

Eileen hope you can get that device back in soon. It seem to helped alot.

Everyone have a good day. Thoughts and prayers for everyone.

Love and hugs,

Yvonne

Well, Carla, I hope you had somewhat of a good time at Universal.

Is WDW or Universal never crowded? I haven't been to Universal and haven't been to Disney since I first moved to FL. As you said, too darn crowded.

You are one busy lady. Always on the go. Have fun with your next adventure.

xoxo

Hi Kathy,

It is better you quit your job without giving notice than getting more and more stressed out because of the job.

I have been where you are and wanted to quit because of a horrible atmosphere a couple of times. Once was when I was going through my divorce. My female boss was a witch. I took the morning off to look for an apartment. I called her. With clenched teeth she told me to come in to work because it was the end of the month and we worked in accounting and it was month end closing. I went in, all right. I walked into her office and told her she was the most heartless person I ever met and told her goodbye, I am done. I don't want to have to be around you for another minute. Then I left.

So, good for you. Don't feel bad. Feel good that you are not so stressed out. No job in the world is worth dying or getting sick over.

Hi,

Sorry that your hubby's surgery cannot be done by laproscopy. Praying for a positive outcome from the surgery and a positive outcome from the biopsy once it is done.

I am glad that you are being proactive about your labs. I am bad. Very bad. Had my sleeve 9/9/2014 and haven't been back to the doctor for labs since the beginning of last year. Hope when all is said and done, your labs are OK.

Take care,

Arlene
