Good Morning OFF,
I am finally getting back to normal. Frankie just got here, be right back.
Albert Schweitzer

I need to be busy too. I have to stay active and engaged or the blue funk descends on me. But I need to exercise more than I do. I've been walking for a week now and I'm appalled at how out of shape I am. I have wobbly knees and jelly thighs! But I tell y'all right now: I am NOT going to be a fat old woman with bad knees! I am not going to let that be my destiny. I may have stiff joints and arthritic hands but I am not going to let myself give up. I say we fight the good fight, sistas! Let's encourage one another every day. Proud to belong to this group of amazing women!
Connie,
Yoga is the least stressful exercise for me; however, I don't do all those very complicated positions. I do get on the floor but I also put on knee pads so that when I do get on my knees, they are padded.
I love the yoga for the stretching and improvement in range of motion.
I am afraid that once I stop I will just stop...you know? That's what happened to my sister; she retired and now she sits in the house all day long and her kids call me to come make her go to the doctor...it's so sad. I think she has just given up.
I need to be busy.
Good afternoon Jeannie and everyone.....
It is wonderful that you have managed to set up a morning yoga group.
How you do all that and do all the other jobs you have to so is amazing to me!! Where do you get the energy from? How do you do yoga in pain?I can get down on the floor but I sure can't exercise. Getting up is even more of a challenge!! Good for you....you are awesome!!!!
It is good that you are going to try to have some fun time sewing.
I need too go spilled coffee on keyboard...HELP!!!!!!
Hello Yvonne...it is dark and gloomy here today too!! That makes me not want to get out of bed either. I usually automatically wake up at 8:00. I do love the quiet mornings. That is when I do my bible readings and say most of my prayers. I read the newspaper and do the crossword puzzle. I always feel better when I get those things done. Makes me feel more peaceful. Enjoy your Bible study tonight!
It is so sweet of you to take your friend grocery shopping. I hope you get to see your friend at the rehab place at some point today. I am sure the staff there keeps her pretty busy and just wears her out. You will hear from her soon.
Have a relaxing day... love you...hugs....connie d
Hello Eileen....I am so glad to know you will be getting the neuro-stimulator!! That will be just wonderful for you!! Your doctoryoou have sounds great!!!
I am glad that you were able to make it back home before your dad passed on. My dad passed on a year before him.
Like I said before that winery sounds like a great place. I am glad you enjoyed it so much. I would guess the wine will be really good.
You are lucky that you get to eat out so often. I eat out maybe once a month. I don't ever feel like bothering anyone so I just coo****asionally I will order in. Lucky for me I love to cook!!!
That shower tomorrow will feel wonderful!!!
Love you....hugs....connie d
Oh Cindy...get some pineapple juice and both of you drink it...it really does help!!!
HUGSSSSSSSS
Hi Ladies,
It's a rainy and gloomy day . I didn't want to get up this morning. I been eating terrible for the last 3 days. It's going to stop today since the candy and chips are gone. I didn't even logged all what I ate. My exercise for today was walking at the grocery store. I had to take my friend there. I tried to go see my friend that had triple bypass surgery today. She's at rehab now which is across the street from me but she was having therapy when I called her. She never called me back so I don't know if I will see her today. I have Bible study tonight.
Everyone have a good day. Thoughts and prayers for everyone.
Love and hugs,
Yvonne
Hi Connie,
So I talked with my neighbor. I think we're okay. I did, of course, apologize profusely. And I told her I would pay the vet bill. She did take Libby (her dog) to the vet and there were no puncture wounds, only scrapes and bruises. We talked about fencing solutions, too. She was actually very decent about the whole thing. I think it will be all right.
I think you are doing better lately. Not quite as much pain? And a definitely lightning of spirit.
Still praying for Nic's test results. Golly, it's sure taking a long time.
Love you!
Hello Vickie.....your yard does sound like it will be "Home (House) and Garden" lovely!! The raised garden is such a wonderful idea! I envy you all those fresh vegetables and herbs most all the year long.
I am so sorry about your dogs. I thought Pattie Kate was going to the Humane Society or wherever. Anyway I hope the neighbor doesn't report it. In Minnesota if a dog does harm to another dog or a person they are taken and kenneled. The owners have four weeks to abide by the laws of the state. They must provide insurance for the dog, $300,000.00 per dog, they have five. They must have fencing of a certain kind that will be inspected within that four weeks. They also have to pay the state $300 a month per dog to keep the dog. There is also a fine the owner must pay. Naturally most people can't afford that insurance and such so their dogs are euthanized. The reason I know this is a lady here, 60 years old, was walking her little dog on this last Sunday. Two Boxers jumped the fence and killed her dog. The lady tried to save her dog. The dogs then attacked her. She is still in the hospital. I am sure a lawyer will be involved and there will be many costs there too. The laws seemed pretty severe at first but now I understand why they are set that high. People are being made responsible for their dogs.
I hope you are wrong and Carrie isn't drinking. You can't nurse a baby and drink alcohol. Praying this isn't the situation. I am sure that is what you are concerned about.
Congrats on the weight loss. That is great!!! I can't stand any of the protein mixes. I have tried many. It always has such a after taste for me. I just drink my Premier Protein with fruit on the side...LOL!
I wish I was sitting on your porch watching the men do their magic. That way you can really see the progress happening!!!
I am happy you get to see little Benny and Budder tonight. I am sure you miss them. I bet they love Caralee!! We all do!!
Love you much....hugs....connie d
