30 people wow!!!!!!!!! I remember those days!!! FUN!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow I have the biopsy on my vulva, in the afternoon I start the prep AGAIN for the pill cam that is for Tuesday morning. BUT I am calling before I start the prep to make SURE it is a GO!!!!! Then I believe next week is my mammogram and bone density tests. Then Dec 4th? I get my root canal done. Still might have it pulled because I can't afford the $600.00 co pay for my half to have this done!! So sick and tired of dr appointments and tests!!

Belated Happy Thanksgiving ladies!
We ate at my sister-in-laws. She always has a nice spread and I admit to enjoying her homemade cheesecake! My absolute favorite.
All 3 of my daughters were able to come so I was grateful for that. Plus my sister-in-law had invited her husband's family so we totalled close to 30 ppl.
Put up Christmas decorations Friday and shopped yesterday and today. Half done...yay!
I have 4...count them...FOUR...medical appointments this week. My PCP tomorrow, lung doctor Tuesday morning, sleep study overnight Tuesday and mammogram Wedneday!
Judy, when was your test rescheduled for?
Anyhow, will be glad when all this medical stuff is behind me. The past 2 years have been totally focused on getting my health back and overall I feel I've achieved that.

Our dinner turned out great too! My hubby did the ham, potatoes and stuffing, i did the turkey, side dishes and pies. We did not fight over space in the kitchen and i ate my little bits of mashed stuff over a couple hours. Our son and his family ate with us and then we watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy. Boy did we laugh!

Susan, Try a WHEY Protein and see if you like that. I think PURE PROTEIN ANY WHEY Is what I used to drink in the chocolate flavor. Been so many years ago I am pretty sure that is the name of it. If possible see if you can get different ones/kinds in sample sizes till you find one you like best.
I hear what you are saying on these insurance companies!! GRRRRRRRR Still not sure if I want this root canal or not. It is a lot of money that I do not have and if it is cheaper to have it pulled I just might do that.

We just finished up our dinner and boy was it ever good! Rick makes a mean turkey dinner!!! I paced myself this time so I am not feeling sick but I am counting down to left overs lol

It is 8am here in Cali so before i get busy i want to tell you all how thankful i am you are here! You welcomed me like a sister as soon as i posted and you have been so supportive as i began my journey!

UGH! what a rediculous doctor's office! I really feel your pain! I bought a new protein powder, the cheapest at the grocery store and it ripped right through my gut! I am so thankful the market took it back and gave me a refund... Stater Bros here in CA, a smallish chain but been in business for decades and decades. Good all-America company.
And for the dentist - TRIPPLE UGH! I tried asking about getting two plans but the dentist biller says they dont do that. I had an eye tooth crown fall out once, one tooth with post still attached. I wanted them to just glue it back in with dental super glue but noooooooo i had to have a bridge, i had used up all my benefits for the year and it cost me $3000!!! I paid that credit card for years.
I hope and pray things get better, friend!

I am at the point of saying HELL NO to ALL my Dr appointments right now!!!!!!!! So tired of going/doing everything!!!!!! And then not even being ASKED if I wanted this root canal done or having the tooth pulled!!! As for the prep and the monitor, do they only have ONE monitor????? Give me a break!!!!!!!
I am feeling so much better but still these appointments are waiting for me.....
Damn Judy...doesnt it feel like there are some days not worth getting out of bed?
That is total BS with the procedure being rescheduled! Don't these doctors realize the anxiety we have? And waiting til you started prep...how irresponsible!
And yeah...I have yet to have a dental plan that paid more than 50% on major procedures. I have often wondered if you bought two different plans if they would accept them therefore paying for remainder of services...
Anyhow hope you're back to feeling better.
