Not 30 but 26 instead

Hey guys.  It has been awhile since I stopped by this site but decided that since I just had my extended tummy tuck on Wednesday and I am going stir crazy from the limits my body currently has put on me, I'd read some posts on here.

My tummy tuck went well.  The dr estimated my pannus weighed 30 lbs.  Well, he removed 26 lbs.  I have to say I am impressed with his ability to estimate the amount and be so close.  I am still wrapped up in a binder but each time I get to see the surgical site I am in awe!  NO belly.  NOTHING hanging over my thighs.  It is all so surreal!

Wow, congrats, that's incredible!   My dr. removed 17 lbs and believe me, I know how you feel.  I haven't gotten used to the whole thing at all yet.
Good luck with the healing and I hope things go great for you!

Congrats, isn't it awesome?  I'm just thrilled every time I realize I don't have a "muffin top" anymore! Just rest, its the best advice I have gotten on this forum.

Wow!  I just looked at your "before" pics.  It must be such a relief on your back to not have your tummy dragging you down anymore.  Good for you!!  Congrats!!  Can't wait to see your "after" pics.  Hope your healing continues to go well.

Wonderful!  Glad to hear you are doing well!  Dr. Lavin did my RNY in 05, he is wonderful.  What plastic surgeon did you use?
