It is my understanding the teardrops may rotate in the pocket causing weird shapes.  When I do it I plan on the round ones for that reason.

my ps will not use tear drop for the turning reason. He also said that when the round are in gravity pulls the gel down, like natural breasts
Johanna - like Joe-on-uh, or that movie, Juwanna Man!

Didn't know there was such a thing! I plan to get the TV star type of boobs! I want them to sit up high and at attention....shoot paid enough for them! I am sure they will tear drop on their own hopefully later than sooner!

I heard teardrops start out looking droopy sooner because of their shape (teardrop) and then finally when they do droop they look more droopy than the round ones

If I get some, mine will be round

I worked at a plastic surgeon s office in New York.  I have implants myself and to be honest was never asked if i wanted 'teardrop' shapped implants.  I have round mid-profile silcone gel implants.  Keep in mind as others have said the teardrop shape tends to be 'droopy' to begin with and after those have settled in over a number of years i would think they would be even droopier.  If you are worried about the 'melon' look talk to your surgeon and discuss the different profiles available on the round implants.  there is low, mid, high, the profile is what gives the 'projection' off your chest wall.  I'm not sure if you have handled a silcone implant but if you get the chance hold it as if it will be in your body, i think you will find that it creates a natural 'droop' that you may be looking for.  hope this helps!
