I am so excited to get this skin taken off, i can hardly stand myself!!! I will be filling my post-op pain and blood thinner prescriptions today.

Anybody else about to burst from being so excited???

I'm also getting very excited - my LBL is only 25 days away. Started my countdown at 90+ and I can't believe it is this close! Pre-op appt. on 6/13 and then I'll be getting my prescriptions filled, etc.

My reasons for having this surgery? I live in an area where the summertime temperatures are in the 90's. Having to wear a spanx-type garment everyday is brutal in that heat. That, and the fact that all my loose skin moves when I do (without the support-type garment) is worth the upcoming surgery and recovery! I cannot wait!!

YAY!!! I am so excited for you!!! your pre-op is the day before my surgery!

I am having it done bcause the weight of the abdomen pulling on my hips and back has made my arthritis worse, and between my orthopedic surgeon, rheumatologist, and plastic surgeron they all think removal will help the arthritis and allow me to put off hip replacements and back surgery for at least 2 more years.

!!!! Although, mine is still over 40 days away...it is getting closer and I'm feelin' that feelin'..lol

Oh I was so excited, too. I had my LBL three weeks ago, and just wanted to let you know that it's so worth it!

The first few days of recovery are rough, but I really rebounded quickly. You will be amazed at the difference it makes. I'm still very swollen, but am really happy with the changes.
