A LBL always flattens if not concaves your butt.  So my surgeon used to add lipo'd fat, but now he's doing the flap augmentation. ' It's the skin removed from the lower back during the LBL added to the butt area.  I'll post a link of the actual surgery (not mine) so you can see how it's done.  Don'****ch if you're "faint of heart!"  The Lipo'd fat that is added will be 50% absorbed by one year.  This won't.

You are amazing. I think I would have gone postal if I had a drain for 4 weeks! 10 days was long enough for me!!

And I do love my new butt!!

it was the drain coming from behind my right knee.  my right thigh drain!  my daughter hated it when she helped me get my garment on.  it freaked her out!  Believe me, it was a happy day when I pulled that Alien Baby!

WOW! You are doing FANTASTIC!
I hope I will do as well as you.
As I mentioned to you before I will also have a LBL, wondering, how are you sleeping these days, recliner? back in normal bed?
I was looking up about the lymphatic massage before, Is this being offered through the surgeons office? Or through someone else?

I'm still sleeping in my mom's adjustable bed. I forgot to ask when I can start sleeping on my side. The massage is offered at my surgeon's office. So excited for you!!

I sleep with 4 pillows behind me and one under my knees and one just above my butt.  It's comfy, but I am ready to sleep on my side again.  The butt augmentation is strange feeling, I'm not used to having such a round hiney!  How does yours feel Laura?

My butt actually feels OK today. Today was my first day off pain meds. My hiney is not that round!!

Oh well..... I'm still thankful it no longer sags to the floor!!

Laura - good to hear you're doing so well and your spirits are way up!

I toy with a LBL, but really am tired of surgeries.  I'd probably have to lose some more weight before I did... not sure what the results would be for the pain and if it would even be worth it (oh, and the cost of course!)

Jody, you are already tiny. And I imagine you would not have much skin for them to work with. So when are you coming back down to Houston??

LOL - you'd be surprised what kind of jiggly mess there is under my shorts!  But I'll probably just live with it.

Not sure when I'm coming back.  Definitely sometime in the winter.  I may be going to San Antonio for business and if I do I'm hoping to be able to pop over that way for a few days.  Not sure when that will be.
